Bella's POV
It's been another uneventful week. Now there's only two weeks before the big day. I havn't done much but I've been asked about my opinion on a few things for the wedding. Other then that I'm still 'relaxing'. I think that's their way of ensuring I don't kill somebody. We don't need to go to court right now, it'd be just too much of a hassle. Nerves are starting to kick in a little. Every time I think about the future for too long I can't think straight and my breathing goes crazy, like I'm hyperventilating.
What 17 year old has to go through this. I'll be 18 when the wedding day does come though. Like five minutes before the wedding ceremony. I think that's why Fred waited this long, so I'm legal. Ryder has been 18 for like 8 months now and I turn 18 in a few weeks. I'm pretty sure every ones forgotten about it though. Hell even I forgot about it until I started thinking hard a couple minutes ago. September 24th will be a huge day but not because it's my birthday, because it's my wedding day. I'm not upset though. All this drama with the wedding is probably doing my families head in. They most likely don't remember what they had for breakfast much less my birthday in a couple weeks time.
Walking out of my room I skip down the stairs and into the living room. Seeing that no one is there I head towards the kitchen. No one's there either. Opening the pantry I grab an oreo before wondering around the house to see if I can find anyone. After searching the whole place I can finally say that no one is home. And I've also finished my exercise fro the week. Dragging myself up the stairs I go to my room and pick up my phone. Turning it on I see I've got a few texts.
Hey babe I'm bored. Wanna go out? -Ryder your super sexy smokin hot boyfriend;)
Sis I've gone out with someone. Be back later -Ben my dumb bum brother
Hey sweetie, I've just popped out to a friends house. I'll be back in the afternoon -mummy
I'm out golfing. See you later baby girl -old man
Out golfing with your dad. Be back later today -old old man
So Ryder set his contact name on my phone...obviously..maybe. And dad is the old man which makes grandpa the old old man. Makes sense.
After replying to Ryder's text I get up and spritz on a little deodorant and gather my hair up into a messy ponytail. If Ryder's going to marry he might as well see me when I look like crap. I'm honestly too lazy to make an effort in looking pretty for him. We're getting married, he can't back out now. Hopping down the stairs I step out of the house and see Ryder leaning against his car on the driveway.
"What are you doing here?" I ask as I walk up to him.
"Well my girl doesn't have a car and I asked her to hang out with me today so I obviously have to go pick her up"
"Whatever" I say smiling while I open the passenger door and hop into the car.
"Where to today, m'lady?" he says in a bad british accent.
"Where ever you want to go sir" I reply in my equally bad british accent while giggling. I know. We're cheesy. Kinda makes me want to throw up myself but we don't mean to be this gross, I swear.
"Then off to the shops? I want a boost smoothie"
"Ooh! I've been craving one all week"
"Then that's where we'll go" he says while giving me a charming smile. Turning the engine on we make it off my driveway and onto the road. Just as we're about to head off another car drives up in front of us, blocking our way. Frowning, Ryder backs up onto the driveway again since that's the only way he can go. Once the car is parked he takes off his seat belt.
