It was a stormy day at Riverdale and all the teenagers were in school. Previously, people had moved to Riverdale High from Southside High as it had shut down. The core four were sitting in the lounge, as they did everyday talking about the latest gossip in the town. Jughead was very close to Betty, Veronica and Archie as they had welcomed him into their friendship group. Cheryl Blossom the queen of Riverdale High, or so she thought, was sitting on her own by the fireplace.

Cheryl's POV
Crossing one leg over the other, a small scoff leaves me mouth as I roll my eyes at the conversations I've been eavesdropping on for the past 10 minutes. The core four, of course, would not shut up about The Black Hood. I understood their concern for the bodies popping up left and right, but there was truly nothing that we could do. Sitting back idly, I try to lose myself in my Twitter feed, clearly it wasn't working with the small aggravated breaths I'd let out here and there. The topic was more than unsettling and I wasn't ready to deal with it. I didn't care to have to deal with more murders, having to deal with my brothers was far from enough. Running a hand back through my scarlet locks, I rest my phone down on my thigh, trying to make sense of everything they were saying. I wasn't going to intrude on their conversation, frankly my care had been limited to nearly none, but I was going to show that I had some interest in the topic.

The pink- haired serpent entered the room. she was wearing a black bra, covered by a green mesh top, black jeans and of course her iconic serpent jacket. Toni walked past the core 4 and said hi to Jug. "I'll be over later to work on the codes" she said. Toni noticed the red- haired girl sitting by the side. She was intrigued by her, she went and sat next to her. "Hi! You seem lonely" Toni smiled as she sat down.

Cheryl looked up to the girl, her sculpted brows raising with curiosity. No one bothered to ever approach her, the HBIC made herself out to be heartless and cold. It was a first to have someone simply take a seat next to her and talk to her.. Not that she wasn't going to be nice and reply, but she also didn't like how close the girl chose to sit next to her.
"Far from it, Cretin."
Cheryl was quick to try and put herself off, gain some sort of high ground she believed existed.

Toni had sympathy for the girl because of her family past and the death of her brother, Jason Blossom. Toni didn't see Cheryl as a spiteful girl, she wasn't quick to judge her without knowing what was going on in her life. However, toni replied "okay, I'll just leave then"

Nearly frowning at the words, Cheryl composed herself rather quickly. The last thing she needed was to be seen running after some Serpent. She'd definitely hear it from the Bulldogs, mostly Reggie. He'd never shut up about it until the girl graduated. Huffing over her response, Cheryl looked back to her phone, seemingly ignoring everything and everyone else.
"Fine."
It pained her to speak the simple word. 'Fine'. It wasn't fine. She was far from fine too. Having someone to talk to sounded amazing in her mind. Actually being able to speak to someone for more than just two minutes and not totally degrading them even though they looked like a raggamuffin, it sounded grand. Although she wanted to speak with the mysterious Serpent, Cheryl stood her ground. It'd be a cold day in hell if any of the core 4 spotted her speaking with Southside trash.

Toni didn't want to leave, she enjoyed and wanted to talk to Cheryl. But Cheryl had spoken. Toni stood up. "goodbye then" she walked away and sat by the core 4. She occasionally looked back at Cheryl but tried not to make it obvious. Jughead had asked her if she had been talking with Cheryl but she shut him out. All she could think about was the mysterious red-haired girl, Cheryl blossom.

Cheryl tried not to let it bother her as she watched the pink haired Serpent head towards the Core 4. When she decided to sit down with them, well, that might have set her off. She could feel a tinge if anger flood her system. Gripping her scarlet red iPhone a little tighter, she slowly rose from her spot, opting to leave the room that was putting her in such a state of distress. Her mocha brown eyes dulled in color as she left the lounge.
