Episode 5: Hunted

On a ship in outer space...

 "Begin the audition." A gruff voice stated.

 A purple, tech-like alien started first, shooting at various drones and blowing them up.

 Next was a yellow, crab-like alien with a tech mix. As drones came at him, he squashed and broke them with his claw, before slicing some in half with his sword.

 Then the big robot came down and prepared to fire at them. But before the beam could hit them, a man in full black armor on a hoverboard flew in front of them, and used his body to reflect the beam.

 Finally, an orange-colored dragon appeared, spewing fireballs at the robot's feet before going to its' head and ripping it clean off.

 A screen appeared on the nearby wall, showing a green alien creature with red eyes.

 "Impressive," He spoke. "You are all hired. Your objective is to retrieve the Omnitrix." A picture of Ben's watch appeared on the screen. "The one who succeeds collects the award. Do not disappoint me."

 "You ready?" Max asked, as he finished setting up the obstacle course for Ben.

 "Oh yeah," Ben said, turning into his Diamondhead form.

 "Remember to think out there, Ben. Don't just try to muscle it. Might isn't always right." Max said wisely.

 "I know. But it's always fun." Bens deep voice replied.

 As Max and Ben started to train using the obstacle course, Gwen and Rose sat near the Rustbucket, using their own form of training.

 Gwen was currently helping Rose learn to access her powers, without going into the different forms.

 First, they tried Rose's Pyro form, seeing as it was the only one she could access at will.

 "Try placing your hands together," Gwen suggested.

 "Now what?" Rose asked as she placed her hands together.

 "Now, try summoning a fireball, without going into your pyro form."

 "Can you please explain more?" Rose asked.

 "Hmm, let's see... Try to go into your pyro form, but only with your hands, not the rest of your body." The red-head explained.

 "Oh, okay!" Rose chirped.

 Doing as instructed, she closed her eyes and focused her pyro-energy into her hands. When she opened them, both of her gloves were a deep red; and also on fire.

 "Good job, Rose!" Gwen cheered with a smile on her face.

 "Yay!" Rose cheered, throwing one of her flaming hands above her head and began to wave her arms around excitedly.

 "Okay..." Gwen said, instantly moving back in fear of getting burnt. "How about you continue doing that, and I take a sunbath." The emerald-eyed girl said, getting up and moving over to a beach chair.

 "Okie-Dokie!"

 Rose then began to play around with the fire, creating a small, baseball-sized fireball and tossing it from hand-to-hand.

 Gwen then shrieked as diamond shards went loose and flying at the Rustbucket. Gwen ducked underneath a nearby table she set up, as Rose was completely unaware of what was going on.

 Turning her head to Ben and Max, she saw a shard heading toward her, but before it could hit her, she caught it with her hand and turned it to ash.
