≽~ The Distance Between Us ~≼

Nothing could hurt more than not having someone at your side to catch you if you fall and have your back in tough times, but Loki he would come and go and it felt like he wasn't even there for you when your father hurt or humiliated you to make you the laughing stock of the town. You were so used to the pain that nothing hurt anymore, same with Loki, nothing could hurt you ever again.

You spent the whole day cleaning the house top to bottom when your father barged in the front drunk with a woman slung over his shoulder, you watch as they giggle and your father runs up the stairs to his room and slams the door shut behind him with the woman

'The hell just happened'

You turn towards the kitchen to hear a scream followed by some moans

'Aww come on! I just cleaned up there!'

You shout in anger

'Bastard'

Grabbing your jacket and running out the door you go for a long walk away from your drunk father and his slut

How much worse can this day already get with that being said you bump into someone

'Oh my god I-'

You stop yourself to look up and see Loki

'Y/N?'

Ignoring him you brush past him and walk away, guess this day can get worse, Loki follows you and grabs your arm

'Let me go!'

'H-hey!'

'I have nothing to say to you'

'What's wrong'

'Like you care'

'Tell me and we can work this out'

'Who's 'we'? There was never a we, you only care about yourself'

'Now leave me alone'

Shaking out of Loki's grip you run off distancing yourself from him. It hurt. So much. Seeing him again hurt you somehow when nothing hurt. How could Loki out of anything in the world hurt you the most.

'Why! Why did you have to come back!'

You have not seen Loki for some time since you last bumped into each other and you didn't know how you felt about that, it still hurt that out of any other day he had to pick this one to show up when he shouldn't have shown up at all to begin with because the distance between us was better off then seeing him and hurting all over again.
