Chapter 1

Y/N's P.O.V

"If you could stay one age forever what age would it be?" Shuyang asked me.

"9" I reply.

"Why 9?" He said.

"Becuase when I was 9 I didn't know you." I say, glaring at him.

"Ha!" He says, "When I was 9 if I would have known that you were such a bitch I would have left you be."

I roll my eyes standing up from my seat, taking my books with me I leave the library. I walk across the street going home. I can hear his footsteps behind me. I know he's there. But I ignore him. It doesn't help that he's my neighbor.

I'm Y/N L/N. 10 years old. To be 11 in one week.

That boy. He's Shuyang. My neighbor, and basic worst enemy. We were never friends, we didn't know each other before the day I turned 10. Everyone in school knows it too. They know that if we cross paths, it's best not to stand and watch. Just walk away, don't try to stop it. Becuase in the end it will end up stopping in it's own. Maybe a teacher will be in the hallways and they'll stop it.

I swear, I just don't know why he ever came up to me in the first place. Him and his arrogant ass. Acting like he's all that. He unleashed the devil when he came up to me and acted like that.

I open the door and walk into the house. Throwing my books down on the floor and laying down next to them.

"I wanna die!!!" I yelled.

"No you don't." My father said, he's sitting at the table grading papers. He's a college professor, "If you die then I'll be stuck here with your mother, and then she'll want to have another kid to be like a replacement you, and you were already enough."

I laugh a little at my fathers words. He's not wrong. My mom has always wanted to have another baby. But I'm here-and i'm already hard enough to handle- she hasn't tried to convince my dad to have another one.

I smile at my father completely forgetting about Shuyang.

Shuyand and I have to do a project together, we have to learn more about our partner and then make a presentation about it. If you could guess, we haven't gotten to far.
