Y/N's P.O.V

I decided to go back to the library to read the books I had gotten before Shuyang completely interrupted. The book I'm reading is called, 'To All The Boy's I've Loved Before'.  I've only finished a few chapters.

I sigh a little as the sir conditioning in the library cools me down when I walk in. I go over to a seat and sit there, starting to read.

When me and Shuyang first met, it was the day before I turned 10. We met at a park near our houses called 'Silver Wing'. The park has an airplane wing on a hill n the middle of it. I was playing a game with my friends and he came up to us, insulting us. It might have just been as a joke but after that all hell broke lose. He had lived next to me for about 2 weeks before that day. He didn't even have a reason to do that.

It's almost been a year since then.

"Y/N?" The Librarian says, "What are you doing here so late?"

"What?" I say and look at the clock. It's almost 8:30

"We'll be closing soon Y/N. You should head home."

I nodded standing up and bowing out of respect to the librarian.

She knows me becuase I come here a lot. Sometimes just to escape from my emotions, and other times just to escape the terrible things that go on in my head at night.

I walk home with a slight sigh. When I walk in my parents are setting the food down on the table.

I put my book on the couch as I go and sit in my spot on the table. My parents sit and we begin to eat.

"So what's going on at school?" My mom asks me.

I shrug, "Nothing much."

I don't bother to tell her about me and Shuyang's project. She would go on and on about things about me and him. She does this a lot. Especially when I talk about boys. My dad on the other hand is pretty chill with everything. He didn't care as long as I didn't get hurt, raped, pregnant, cheated on, or a hickey. In his eyes a hickey was worse then getting pregnant.

I sigh and contiue to eat my food, watching whatever it is that my parents were watching on tv before I came.

"How have you been doing with your dreams?" My dad asks me.

"They're not dreams, dad, they're nightmares..."
