chapter 3: the actress

-2 weeks later-
Y/n pov: I walked into the set, hoping Noah would be here. I look around, but I dont see him. I look around, and I see chloe. I try talking to her, but she doesnt want anything to do with me. I turn around and walk up to costume design. I grab the outfit with my name on it, and walk into a changing room. Then I walk to my makeup artist. Where I see Noah sitting in a chair, and my makeup artist telling me to sit in the chair next to him. We have random conversations, and when i'm am done, I hardly recognize myself. I have glittery eyeshadow and they put on a blonde wig. I look in the mirror and I see a whole new person. I turn to the makeup artist and I say, that's not me, so who is it. She says, "it's your character... fern. You play a popular kid at school. You fall in love with the mafia leader, also Noah. He will also me having a wig." She shows me a black wig, with a hair swoop. I see streaks of blue in the wig. What did I get myself into.

Noah's pov: I can tell she is uncomfortable with the costumes, so I tell her, you are beautiful in any form of yourself. She smiles back at me without saying anything. I say, besides, I dont really care if people think if I am ugly. She sends back an agreeing smile. I cant wait until we start acting because I know she has real potential. I send a reassuring smile to her. Then we start up our random conversations again.
