up to the sound of my alarm clock ringing . It was my 16th birthday . Yay! I went down stairs to see what my mom had in suprise . I made my way to the kitchen. To see my mom sitting on a chair sobbing . "What's wrong mom?" I asked worried "I've been hiding this from you but ................" she drifted away "what????!!" I asked getting frustrated " Alison you know I love you , but when I had you a man came to me and told me that your dad had been killed in the war but he had left a letter to me ......"
