I have noticed that Joshua was very quiet after lunch for the whole afternoon. I am very worried i know the topic of my scholarship is extremely sensitive for him and it is very sensitive for me too knowing that we might go seperate ways probably
never seeing each other again. It hurts me so much.
I have talked to him about considering to apply for a scholarship to go into a good university, he just dismiss the topic saying he has no chance of even getting a scholarship. His lack of confidence in himself also really worries me.
It also hurts that he has never told me congratulations, his opinon and my mothers is the only one that matters to me. I know he is hurting but this is a great opportunity for me. It is really frustrating when you have plans about your life and it just is destroyed by the littlest things.
Joshua and I are walking down the hallway to our last class and i look up to him " Hey, you okay"
He looks at me and give me a small smile.
"Yeah, i am fine."he answered bluntly.
I sigh and gave him a sweet kiss on his cheek. "I know you are not fine....talk to me please." I beg. I really hate seeing him mad or upset and if both of us are upset nothing would be solved.
"It is nothing really" he replied.
I sigh and we walk in silence once again. We enter the classroom and took our seats. The class began and i just could not focus.
I turn slightly towards Joshua, this boy i love with all my heart, who is always there for me and still is . I nudge him slightly to get his attention, he looks up to me and gave him a smile, he gives me a reassuring smile then mouthing
""What's wrong."
I take his hand and lift it close to my mouth kissing the back of it.
"Nothing." I whispered back
He turns back his attention to the teacher and i see his jaw clenched indicating that he is still upset.
Shaking my head, i wonder how we can ever get pass this.
