Are we worth it?

Chapter 3

I smile to myself when i see Tessa pull up into schools parking lot. She looks so beautiful, i swear i am luckiest person in the world.

When Tessa eyes land on me her smile widens. She comes rushing into me and i open my arms to embrace her. She immediately melts into my embrace.

"Hi, baby how are you? "I ask
"I am better now baby" she sigh
She smells of strawberries and lemon, my favourite scent since i met her.

We pull apart and both have these huge grins on our faces. She always lightens up my mood and i always can't seem to do nothing but smile around her.

She nudged me slightly "What have you been up too."
I laugh at her playfulness
"Nothing much, just missed you."
"I missed you too."she said smiling up at me.

We walk through the schools entrance to attend our classes. Both Tessa and i have add maths class this morning which is so awesome for both of us, sometimes i need help and she need help too so we are always there when anyone needs help with schoolwork.

As the class began and Mr. Jackson started to teach, i reach out to Tessa's hand and entwined our fingers underneath the table.
She turned towards me and her smile reached to her ears. I mirror her smile she gave me and turn towards the teacher hopefully to understand at least one thing he teaches.

After what felt like hours but have only been thirty minutes, class is finally over.
"Finally that nightmare ends." Tessa said looking at me smiling.

"I know is like Mr. Jackson makes the time move slower the way he talks"  I agree

We enter our cafeteria and sat down at our usual table with our group of friends which consist of my best friend Jack, his brother which is also a good friend of mine and Tessa two best friends Sofia and Jasmine.

"Hi guys." I say as we began to engage in conversation.
"What y'all talking about?" 

"Oh just can't believe Tessa got that amazing scholarship." Sofia exaggerated 
"Guys its nothing." Tessa laughed  and rolled her eyes.

I gulp as the conversation turn into Tessas big accomplishment . I always get extremely anxious when they are talking about that touchy subject.

Tessa gets that opportunity and leaves for another country to pursue a wonderful future. I know i should be happy for her but i can't help but think of the worst.

AUTHORS NOTE
UGH...the two first are extremely short i hope this makes up for it. The next chapter is Tessa point of view. Hope y'all enjoyed this chapter. I am trying honestly....
