You're my princess (Revali x Reader)

The door opens to reveal-

an out of breath Revali with some scratches here and there. (y/n) instantly calms down significantly. Still shacking she tries to sit up and properly face her lover. He runs over to her and embraces her, holding her close never wanting to leave her ever again. She clutches to his clothes and cries her heart out. Each and every sound reminding Revali of how bad it must've been with this psychopath. But he tries to stay calm, not wanting to frustrate his girlfriend anymore then she already is. He uses one of his hands to pet her head, trying to calm her down even faster. After a couple of minuets, which turned out to be about half an hour, (y/n) was finally able to talk. "R-Revali I want to go home.." she murmurs, tiredly from all the crying. "Of course" his eyes widen for a second as he remembers something, "Just wait here for a second, I'll be right back." She looks at him questingly and says "Don't leave me to long...". Revali kisses her head and quickly walks out of the room. He runs towards the 'just sleeping Rito woman and shoves her body in another room, so (y/n) does not have to see this. He tries to also clean off the blood, but doesn't succeed so he just hides it with furniture that he lays on it. He walks back to his girlfriend and escorts her through the small hallway. "W-wow those are some nasty blood puddles! I hope you didn't kill her. I don't think that she really deserved that..." Revali quietly glances a little away before answering. "Oh no. I just knocked her out and then put her in another room so that you don't have to look at her again." The girl cuddles up to his arm and leans a little on it. "That's a relief, I'm glad. If it weren't for her psychotic tendencies, she would have been a nice friend to have." Revali only hums. They finally get out of the house and into the cold outside. (y/n) turns around after sometime just to see how exactly this house looked like from the outside. It's a one story hut with no windows, only a door. It has a darkish blue facade, probably to melt into the background of this small cave. She shudders a little as some memories come back, but she regains her posture and returns to Revali, who has been waiting patiently for her. She gets on his back and so they finally make their way back home.

...

While flying, Revali has been lost in thoughts. 'Damn, I really wanted to tell her at that evening... Maybe once we're back home? No, she needs the time to recover. I think I should probably not tell her that I almost died trying to find her.... Yeah that'd be suicide. I should give her a week. Yes a week sounds perfect. I hope she'll like it...."

...(A week has passed)

They're both on a nice stroll around the village to enjoy the nice and calm nature at dawn. This could last for so long as they want because no one is even daring to interrupt them after the last time. The lovebirds walk down the many bridges and stairs, enjoying each others company. Until they arrived on the first small island surrounding the village. "Hey (y/n), I've got a suprise for you. But I'll need to cover your eyes with this cloth. Is that ok with you?" he asks looking her nervously in the eyes. "Ouuh I love surprises! Ok put it on me." She excitedly says. He lays the cloth around her eyes and knots it at the back. Then he takes her hand and leads her slowly towards the next island. "So (y/n)... The first time I've met you I wasn't that fond of you," Revali sees as her head turns a little towards him to signify to go on, "And well when I found out I'm better at archery then you, I was so proud. That's because I saw you as a threat to my dignity, to my pride and Ego. Just like Link is right now, but he really is an asshole if you ask me." "I think your getting off topic there" giggles (y/n) squeezing his hand lightly. "Oh haha yeah sorry. Well where did I left off.. oh yeah. I saw you as a rival that I had to beat no matter what. But then the morning after our first meeting, you just talked to me. As if I was an old friend of yours. Something of that moved my heart. I started getting more comfortable around you and even saw you as a friend. It showed through all of our talks about our pasts and experiences. But soon even that feeling went away and got replaced with these butterflies that were always present when I was around you. I saw that you accomplished, what I thought was impossible. You made me fall for you. Maybe you used your spell book, or even just with your mysterious aura." Revali stops as he stands in the middle of the second island, just next to the small pond. "(y/n) I love you with all my heart" He nudges her a little forward, gesturing her to walk a bit forward. He slowly takes off the cloth and gets into position behind her. (y/n) opens her eyes to be greeted with the most beautiful scenery she's ever seen. The pond that's always been looking a little bland, has glowing lights inside of it, those were probably achieved through those glowing stones (y/n)'s heard of before. All around her are all kinds of fireflies buzzing around, illuminating this place with even more colourful lights, as the sun has already set. She then notices a blanket a bit further ahead with a small basket on it. And even some glowing mushrooms have been added here and there to make the place just look like straight from a fairytale. "Revali this is be-" (y/n) turns around only to get her second suprise for today. Revali is kneeling in front of her holding something behind his back. (y/n) covers her face and could only gasp. "So (y/n) after all we've been through. Will you become my wife?" He holds up a glittering ring. The nervousness is basically written all over his face. Tears well up in (y/n)s eyes. For a second he gets shocked, did she not like it? She jumps to him and gives him a very tight embrace while loudly screaming "I DO! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!" Now its Revalis turn to start crying and hugging back. Both laugh with tears streaming down their faces, but they don't care, this is their moment and only theirs. After also sharing a rather passionate kiss, Revali slips the ring on (y/n) hand. She takes a good look at it. From what she can see through the small lights around them, the stone has a (f/c) colour. "You don't know how long I've been waiting for this to happen!" (y/n) giggles while laying with Revali on the blanket. "Well, I meant to do this a bit before but some things have happened in between." (y/n) laughs some more while cuddling up some more at him, she knows fully what has happened.

...

"Oh I also wanted to ask from the start, but what's inside the basket?" "Oh some of your favourite cookies and cinnamon rolls. I know how much you like those." he chuckles. "UuuuH give me some! All of these surprises have made me really hungry." "I figured"

...

DING DONG DING DONG. The bells ring loudly. This is it. Everyone stands up from their designated seats and stare at the entrance of the church. In comes a beautiful woman with a nice long/short white dress. She has a long white almost see through veil hanging over her head and a bit over her back. She holds a bouquet of (f/flowers) and also has one of those flowers braided into her hair. She walks slowly a long the ail, wonderful music accompanies her with every step. Soon she stands in front of the altar, where her handsome fiance is already waiting. His feathers are a little ruffled up with pride from seeing this woman he gets to now officially call his own. This beautiful creature will now love him and only him. He gets even some more boosts as he sees the jealous glances from some of the males present. Both stand there looking at each other lovingly, waiting till it's their time to say their vows. After finishing those the priest has only one thing left to say. "You may now kiss the bride." And so he did. He put the veil away. Looking her deeply in the eyes before closing them for their even deeper kiss. Cheering and applause follow and even the occasional whistle from an energetic hylian. What a good friend he is.

...

The after party was the wildest thing ever. People were dancing left and right. Shouts and laughter were also heard and in the middle of everything is the newly wed pair. Dancing in their own world, just like the last time at the day of the flowers. Both laughing and or smiling away. "Hey (y/n)! It's time to throw the bouquet!" She lets go from her husband, who frowns a little at the sudden loss of her touch. (y/n) runs to a small not so populated place with her flowers. "OK GIRLS COME OVER IT'S TIME TO THROW THE BOUQUET!!!!" (y/n) screams, a little hyper from the alcohol that's being served. Every woman runs up to her and hysterical try to get to the best spot to catch it. It is said after all that who catches it, will be the next to marry. (y/n) turns around and throws the flower bouquet over her head to all the woman. Screeching can be heard from miles away as the flowers get closer and closer. All hands reach out, but it magically seems to land into her hands. (y/n) turns back around and can't keep her laughter as she sees a disbelieved Zelda with the bouquet in her hands. She runs up to her and hugs her tightly. She also says rather loudly "I hope you invite me to your wedding with Link!" making Zeldas face turn bright red. "(y-y/n)! You know that we're not even dating yet..." She mutters the last part, making it only audible to (y/n) and some of the girls surrounding her. "He ssooooooo likes you too. Just ask him out already!" Zelda only laughs shyly and tries to remove herself from the spotlight. Just then a slower song has started to be played. (y/n) runs back to Revali to take this chance to dance with him again. She puts her head on his chest as he lets his head rest on top of hers. She closes her eyes, this really is her happiest day.
