The day after getting caught in soul stone.

"No Barnes we can't do that there is nothing in here to break it wit-"

"Wilson I get that but we can find something. Maybe Wanda can figure something out." Bucky replies to Sam.

"Ive been trying but it's not working properly my powers are glitching almost." An exasperated scarlet witch buds in.

"Hey guys, what if we tried t-"

"Stay our of it peter! We don't need a 16 year old kid trying to save our butts!" Sam shouted turning to face the shorter teen.

"Seventeen."

"What?"

"I'm seventeen. Yesterday was my birthday." Peter says offhandedly and everyone just stares at him realizing that instead of benign with his friends having a party. Peter was in outer space trying to save the world and didn't even mention it to anyone. "It's not like it matters ok. Nobody cared anyway so why should I."

Wanda looks at the young spider and sees he isn't doing this for attention he genuinely thinks he doesn't matter at all. To anyone.

"Now as I was about to say..." Peter goes on to describe a intricate well thought out plan with lots of pop culture references that might actually work.

(After they get out)

"Tony you're not listening to me. Ugh that's it Peter died on his birthday! Ok! He should have been at a party opening presents but instead he was saving the world and having you yell at him for trying to save your life. Also he was the only person to actual feel his death. To us it was painless but to him because of his Spidey sense he felt every second. So shut up and go hang out with the poor boy. He thinks of you as a father so go be one." Wanda finished saying to the now visibly shaking stark who simply lets out a small.

"what have I done." Before running out of the room to only drag Peter down to his lab to show help him create a new Spidey suit.
