Nicki was back in her California penthouse working and fixing minor issues with the album. Rihanna was still on the phone with Anna about the release of the Vogue magazine she was being featured on. Nicki wasn't able to get the song "Sorry" that she created for the album cleared so she went ahead and made the decision to drop the album on the 10th of August.
"Yes, Thanks Anna have a nice one" Rihanna hung up her phone
"Everything good?" Nicki adjusted her glasses to look at Rihanna
"Yeah everything is all good, how about you?" Rihanna smiled plopping herself down on the white couch before the fireplace
"I couldn't get the song cleared" Nicki rubbed her head
"Babe what happened? I thought you're manager had everything under control?"
"Yes but apparently they couldn't get in contact with her management so I'm just going to have to release on the 10th"
"If that's what you feel is best I know you're album is going to be a banger in those damn strip clubs"
"They are"
"Could I get a listen?" Rihanna asked
"Not just yet I'm making a few touch ups here and there" Nicki turned her head back to her pink Macbook
"Okay cool" Rihanna laid back and rested her eyes a bit till she drifted off.
For the next couple hours Nicki went up to the studio that she was able to help create into her penthouse home. Nicki rapped a few songs from "Hard White to "LLC". The last song she decided to do in her studio was "Come see about me". It was a very personal song that Nicki decided to add to her Queen album. She knows everyone will suspect that it's either about Safaree or Meek. Nicki sang the lyrics. Nicki didn't notice that Rihanna was outside the door listening to Nicki sing her heart out on the song. After Nicki was finished recording Rihanna walked into the room clapping which startled Nicki
"Yo what the fuck?" Nicki took a deep breath holding her chest
"Baby that was amazing, but who that was about?" Rihanna said dropping her smile playfully
"No one special" Nicki took off her Beats headphones
"Uh uh you not leavng out of here, tell me who that was about was it about meek or Safaree?" Rihanna looked her in her eyes
"Robyn I'm not ready to talk about the song it's something very personal for me right now, when I'm ready then I'm ready" Nicki walked past Rihanna
Nicki took up her phone and scrolled through her Instagram feed and saw other people posting pictures of Rumi and Sir on the set of Vogue with Beyonce. Nicki smiled at the photos. Nicki was happy to see Beyonce happy with her children although she did miss her, she knows that those children mean the world to her. Nicki looked down thinking if she will ever have children one day.
"Babe you got a call from you're manager about the VMA's" Rihanna walked up to Nicki
"What did they say?"
"They were wondering if you want to perform at the VMA's I told her you will call her back"
"Okay cool" Nicki got up ready to place her phone call
"Babe I'm ready for us to go public, I don't want us to be a secret anymore" Rihanna walked up to Nicki holding one of her hands
"Are you serious?" Nicki smiled looking up at Rihanna
"Of course I love you so much"
"I love you to baby" Nicki kissed Rihanna's lips
"Alright now go call you're manager and finish that album" Rihanna smacked Nicki's ass making her blush
