Erik's POV

Christine Daae should be returning soon. I am figuring that she started towards the Opera House the instant she read about it's re-opening.

She mustn't be married yet. I am guessing that it would be in the newspapers.

(Moments later)

"Christine, you won't believe this. We are re-opening the Opera Populaire with Don Juan Triumphant," Meg Giry exclaimed.

Upon their bursting into the room, I hid.behind the beautiful red curtains on the stage. I did not want Christine to see me.

"I can't believe it.. It's almost as I remembered it, but the ceiling-"

"The crews had to make repairs on the chandelier and it's attatchments," Meg cut Christine off.

I suppose I should slip back down into my lair and make a surprise visit to my angel later.

Raoul's POV

"Christine, dear, where are you?" I asked.

Nothing. Pure silence, like my words had melted into nothingness.

I run out into the street asking every person I know if they had seen her. But all gave me the same answer, "No."

Then I had a thought in the back of mind about where she could be. She was reading about the Opera Populaire re-opening yesterday. She may have decided to go back.

Making haste, I grab my coat and call a carriage.

"Where to, Vicomte?," the carriage driver asked.

"The Opera Populaire."

Christine's POV

I head up the stairs to my room.

Upon my arrival, I notice that the mirror door to the passageway is slightly open.

It can't be.. I thought he was placed in jail for murder! I have to find out if he is in the lair.

Please keep voting! I need to know that writing more of the story is worth it and not a waste of my time. Thanks for reading!
