Gauri was wearing Omkara's shirt and sleeping peacefully on the bed. She had a beautiful smile adorning her face. She moved her hand to cuddle into a warm embrace, but much to her dismay she only found crumbled bed sheet. She was quite angry. She was about to say something when she looked at the clock. She literally jumped as it was 10'o'clock. She quickly bathed. She took out Omkara's rage by using all his body wash and shampoo. Then she changed into a blue cold shoulder kurti and a pair of leggings.
Meanwhile in a diagnostic centre
Omkara was waiting impatiently outside a cabin. A man in a lab coat, came to him and handed him a white envelope.
Omkara: Thank you.
With trembling hands he took the envelope and opened it. As soon as he opened the envelope, tears trickled down his cheeks. His world collapsed in front of him. The floor below his feet faded. Devastated he went back to his car and drove straight away to Oberoi mansion.
In Oberoi mansion.
Gauri was paving back and forth the main door of Oberoi mansion. No one was in the house. Daadi was in Shirdi, for a pilgrimage. The elders had goblet for a picnic. Shivika and Shika went to watch a children's programme and Rudra was in Chubby's House. So it was Gauri alone in her house.
Gauri's POV: Aaj Omkara ji ko aane do. Class lungi mai aaj unki. Aisi acchi so raat ke baad koi aise apni patni ko chod jata hai Bhala! Aane do unhe.....
She was broken out of her thoughts when she saw Omkara entering the door of the mansion. She couldn't utter a word seeing his devastated state.
Gauri(running to him and cupping his cheek) : Omkara ji kya hua hai??? Omkara ji... Kuch boli ye.
Seeing his dearest wife like this, he just took her in his tight embrace.
Omkara: Sorry.... Sorry Gauri.....
Gauri: Sorry kahe!? Oh aaj subah ke liye? Humne aapko maaf kiya! But aap ro kyun rahe hai?
Omkara : I'm sorry Jaan mein tumhari raksha nahi kar saka
Gauri: Huh!? Ka behki-behki baatein kar rahe hai aap??
Omkara hands her the same envelope. She takes out the reports. Unfortunately she cannot read it.

Gauri: iss mein kaa likha hai Omkara ji? Hume samajh nahi aa raha....
Omkara: GAURI..... Gauri......
Gauri: Ka baat hai Omkara ji?
Omkara: GAURI tumhe first stage leukemia hai....
Gauri: uu ka hai?
Omkara: GAURI..... Gauri.... Tum.. Tumhe..... Blood cancer hai..... First stage.....
Gauri's eyes dilated as saucers hearing this news. Saying so Omkara totally broke down into tears and sat down on the floor. Seeing her husband in such a state, Gauri had to keep her cool. She went to Omkara and pressed his shoulder assuringly.
Gauri : Omkara ji sambhaliye apne aap ko....
Omkara (looking at Gauri) : kis mitti ki bani ho tum Gauri? Kyun humesha tumhaare saath aisa hota hai? Kyun kabhi humari zindagi mein khushi nahi aa sakti.....
Saying so om starts wailing even louder...
Gauri: Shhhhh..... Shhhhh... Omkara ji.... Hum theek hai. Bhagwaan ka shukr hai ki first stage mein pakda gaya hai... Treatment ho sakta hai na....
Omkara(cupping her face) : Jaan mein poori duniya ki saari taakat laga doonga tumhe theek karne ke liye.. Please jaan mera saath kabhi mat chodna. Please jaan Marr jaunga mai....
Gauri: Shhhhh.. Omkara ji. Kaisi baatein kar rahe hai aap. Jaiye jaake haath munh dho lijiye hum khaana lagate hai. Hum iske bare mein baad mein baat kare. Pleaje.
Omkara nods once, places a kiss on Gauri's temple and leaves to freshen up.
As soon as Omkara leaves Gauri breaks down into tears.
Gauri's POV: Kyun Sankar ji? Kyun?? Kyun aap Omkara ji ko itni takleef de rahe hai? Unhone kya Kiya hai? Unhe Mai aise Haalat mein nahi dekh sakti. Please. UNKE saath aisa mat kijiye. Ka kasoor hai unka? Sankar ji Hume jeena hai. UNKE liye....
Gauri serves breakfast and Om Comes down. He hugs Gauri like a small child.
Both of them sit to eat. Gauri feeds Omkara with her owns hands and wipes his tears. When all the other family members came back to the house by the evening Omkara broke the ice and told them about the entire thing. Every one was very devastated especially Anika.
Daadi: Kiski buri nazar pad gayi mere baccha par!! Haye rabba. Kuch karo....
Anika(wraps Gauri in a tight hug) :Gauri.... Tujhe kuch nahi hoga.... Sab theek ho jayega....
Daadi: Om... Puttar Gauri ko aise time mein aise khade nahi rehna chahiye. Use roomein Le ja Puttar.
Omkara: Jee Daadi.
Gauri turned back and probably had taken only a step when Omkara lifted her up in her arms and took her to their room.
Daadi: Pata nahi mere bacchon ki zindagi par Kiski nazar padh gayi hai!
Saying so Daadi calls it a night. Everyone goes towards their respective rooms. Rikara too sleep on their room. Anika was crying the most. Shivaay was consoling a wailing Anika whilst which a confused Shika understood nothing.
