Chapter one

_minyhu's Point of View_

The doorlock clicked open as I twist the door knob to my father's office.

I heard my dad talking to someone inside his office as I slung the door slightly open while knocking..

Him and the guy quickly halted their conversation, and quickly averted their attention to me.

"Ahh minhyu-ahh, come in come in come in." He said.

As I took small steps to the desk table with two chairs infront facing each other.

"Have a seat minhyu" my dad said, pointing at the seat.

I sat down quietly, as awkward silence falled upon us.. so I had to do something.

"W-why did you uhm... call me?" I asked.

My hands we're fidgeting, because of my nervousness.

"Ahh yes yes ye- ehem. Ugh so Today. I called you guy's to meet each other properly, and formally." He said, as he averted his eye's to...

"Taeyhung?" I asked, as I studied his features, who was obviously pissed.

"Hi, uhm-- minhyu! Uh....nice to finally meet you, again..."  Taeyhung said with his fake smile.

Which was quite obvious.

"So you guys have finally met together?" My dad asked with his monotone kind of voice.

I averted my direction to my dad, and nodded.

"Ne, appa. He's my schoolmate in middle school and he was also my cr--crassmate!" I said.

My dad  knitted his eyebrows.

"Crassmate?" My dad asked again. With his serious, but almost seemingly about to burst out with a laugh.

"Ani, classmate appa. Classmate" I replied.

He then nodded and awkward silence was back to it's atmosphere.

But after a minute or two, Taeyhung quickly asked a question to my dad.

"Where is ny father, uncle?" Taeyhung asked. As if he was in a hurry.

"Ohh yes, your dad is actually in an overseas business trip with your mother, for the some kind of project for our company" my dad quickly replied.

As he studied me and Taeyhung from head to toe.

I was already shaking, since this is my first time this near to Taeyhung.

My dad then broke the awkward silence with a serious tone.

"Ok, this isn't jut the reason why I called you two here..." my dad said.

Me and Taeyhung quickly turned our heads in unison.

"Well you see...our company has been ranking down. What I mean is, not everyone in this town knows about this company. And that will be the result of losing alot of money." My dad said, as me and Taeyhung faced each other.

"Which means, in the old days...me and your dad, became business partners, but not only that we we're friends since elementary" he said, as he smiled at Taeyhung.

"So what do you mean.....appa?" I asked him as if im already patient.

"Well, you see the billboard outside right?" My dad said, pointing at the window pane. Where the was a billboard of my dad and Taeyhungs dad outside. Sponsoring the company.

"Y-yes" I stuttered, I don't know why...

"You two should sponsor our company" my dad straight forwardly said.

"Ohh, ok I thought something was about to happe-" Taeyhung said, but got cut off by my dad.

"It's not the easy Taeyhung-ssi" my dad said. Which earned a confused look from me, and Taeyhung.

"You're getting married." My dad said. Which earned a surprise look from Taeyhungs face.

"Wh-what!!?" He asked as he stood up. My dad stood up as Well and calmed him down.

"Why do we have to get married? When we can just simply sponsore the company?" Taeyhung asked.

"Me and your parents, have already decided this for you two since you were kids..Because, we want the company to be alive..when the the time comes when we're....you know." My dad said, in a sad voice.

"And, it would also be better known when the two business partners son and daughter would get married. So please, just consider this for the company" my dad said with a sad tone.

My dad then averted his gaze to me, which made me shiver.

"Uhm, how about you minhyu? Are you okay with the proposal?" My dad asked.

I was about to nod, but then I saw Taeyhung looking at me so I got scared.

"Uhhhm, give us time appa.." I said. As I studied my dads face from sad to serious.

"Ok then, you have three day's to think of it." He said. As he sat back on his chair.

"Kamsahamnida appa" I said, as I bowed. And quickly made my way out of the door.

Taeyhung was left there....

I don't want him to be sad though..

I snapped out from my thoughts, and quickly went to my office.

I have the second highest position in the company, same goes for Taeyhung. But we have different rooms for some privacy.

I sat down on my office chair, I  thought about the things that happened awhile ago.

"Mianhae Taeyhung" I whispered to myself...

"Im sorry, but I really want to marry you, I promise i'll be a good wife, and I will always be by your side..." I talked to myself again..

Just then, I heard a buzz inside my bag..

I quickly took my bag from the desk and searched for my phone.

I then saw the contacts it was
Jungkook!

"Hello oppa?" I said, happily.

"Annyeong minhyu! Let's get coffee or something. Im sure you're not busy.." he said in the other line.

"Uhh, ne oppa. Ill come...ugh wait, where?" I asked him. As he was humming, thinking about where to go.

"Hmm, how about near your company....aha! Starbucks?" He said. As I nodded then replied.

"Okay, see you in a bit!!" I said, as I turned my phone off.

I was already packing my stuffs when my door slung open. Which startled me.

Taeyhung then walked in..as I was staring at him.

"Where are you going?" He said, with a serious voice.

"Uhmm, to meet up with a friend?" I said, as I continued packing up my stuffs In my bag.

"Oh your boyfriend?" He asked. Which made me stop from what I was doing.

"No, I never had a boyfriend or whatsoever" I said, as I gave him a death glare.

"Ahahah whatever and by the way, I signed the contracts..." he said. As he walked out.
