Chapter seven

-Minhyu's Point if view-

The next morning I woke up to prepare food for tae-- Gucci Tae, he said he wanted bacons and pancakes

So being a good WIFE im going to cook for him...

I cracked two eggs ang whipped them..

I took the pancakes mix ang places some eggs, butter, and some milk.

After cooking everything I placed the food on the table

I then saw Taeyhung walking to the kitchen

"Hey good morning Gucci Tae!" I said, as I waved at him he gladly smiled back.

"He-- hey!! You really cooked all of this?" He asked in disbelief as he sat on the chair.

"Uhm, duh? Who else is at home?" I asked looking around as he rolled his eyes.

"The cat" he said,

pointing at my cat cocoa we newly bought the cat four day's ago it's not a surprise but this cat is very behaved, although she loves to sleep on my bed.

"Hey, leave cocoa out of this!" I playfully said back.

"Whatever, let's eat!"

With that I sat their  and ate

"You cook well" he said, I could see his ear turning red...

Is he perhaps? Blushing, I heard he doesn't blush. But his ear does, I know weird, but I find it cute.

"T--thanks" I said, stuttering at my words, then went back to eating.

Then I remembered

"Ugh tae-- Gucci tae, im going out with someone toda--" he cut me of by placing his index finger on my lips.

"I know, I over heard your conversation with your boyfriend." He said,
he said those words made
sadness filling up, I could feel it.

I laughed simultaneously at his joke, Boyfriend?!! Ahhaha

"What? What's so funny? It's true you even said.."

"Im sturting to liek youu" he said, as he tried speaking my accent.

"You really think I'm going to cheat on yo--" he cut me off, when he stood up and placed his plate on the counter sink and  went back to his room slamming it.

"Okay, why am I always the bad guy here?" I said, as I sighed in defeat.

"I haven't had the chance to tell you that I like you" I muttered.

"Hi, uhm...lyka right?" I asked. As she nodded.

I looked at her from head to toe, hmm why isn't she im her unif--

"Ugh, I actually quit the job since they weren't paying me properly with what they promised, so im working on finding a work, but were not holding grudges with this cafè though" she said, as she bitterly smiled.

She desperately needs money

"How old are you?" I asked, as if I was interviewing her.

"Im actually twenty, im going to graduate this year, and yes I started school early..."she said, playing with her free hands.

"Ohh okay...then You're hired" I said, as I smiled and stood up

"Wh-what?" she asked in disbelief, as I smiled at her reaction

"Seems to me, that you want to be dependent with work...and you desperately need the money for tuitions" I said

"I, I don't know what to say"

"Don't worry, ill make sure you'll have a half shift since you're a student" I said as I walked outside with her beside me.

"I-- no word's can describe how happy I am, but thank you" she said, and this time she hugged me.

I gladly hugged her back, now ill just have to think about making it up for Taeyhung

I went home to see a sleeping Taeyhung on the couch, the tv was still turned on, guess he was  watching basketball

I took a blanket from upstairs and tucked him In.

I went upstairs to change, I opened the door but to see a box on top of my bed.

"What's this?" I asked myself, knowing no one would answer.

I opened the box, assuming it's mine, duh why would they place it on my bed if it's not mine.

I took the cover and opened the box, there we're picture's of me in highschool? And some...

Wth? these are the picture's I took, and some of my selfies.

Shit and taeyhungs face dang it.

"Is it possible that Taeyhung might've seen this?" I asked myself.

This box was from my previous home I brought it with me when I heard I was also moving out.

"Yep I did, I dint know you admired me that much.." a familiar voice was heard.

I turned around with burning cheeks, oh no.

"I--uhm..." no words were coming out from my mouth..

He then went near me and leaned me on the wall

"Do you like me that much?" He whispered on my ears..

He looked backed at me finding some clues from my expression

Here it comes

"Y-yes" I stuttered, but thats
the truth,  ever we were  kid's  I nknew there was this small tingling this that I couldn't express not till in first grade where I found out, I had a crush on him

He was silent for a while, I waited for an answer but received it with a small snort.

"What's so funny?"

"How am I supposed to believe that?" He asked, and seemingly his expression changed.

"Wha-what? You want more?" I asked.

"And this time don't joke with with me Park Minhyu" he said still laughing,

Me making a joke tht I like you? How dare you!

"Okay then, I've liked you since we're kids, from elementary, when u had a crush to highschool with a girlfriend to college with hear breaks, I've waited...but seemingly you only knew me as a daughter to your father's business partner. Untill this happened this was my chance but seemingly you only thought of me as a joke" I said, as I stood up. He was startled

But I dint care, not today.

Tears seemingly fell

Taeyhung was just silent
And maybe this time he would have realize my effort of waiting

"I dint know...." he said after a minute of silence in my room.

"Im going out" I said, as I took the purse from my table beside the bed

"where?" I heard taeyhung said but I intentionally ignored him.

I wrote this book while listening to "pick me"

Produce 48 lol I am so happy that chaeyon was able to make it, she's top 12 YAAAY though her ranking fell in the last evaluation from top 3 to top 12 well anyways HALLELUJAH there was top 12 ha!
