The alarm sets off, I'm still covered in my blanket, unwilling to get up. The alarm though, it's like telling me something...
"Get up you sleepyhead!"
Yep, the alarm clock just spoke to me... nothing unusual... afterall... I'm just dreaming, right?
I uncovered the blanket on my face, looked around, rubbed my eyes... "that's for real huh?" I told to myself. I then covered myself again.
WAIT! IS IT JUST ME OR THAT ALARM CLOCK JUST TOLD ME TO GET UP!
I got up and sat down, looked at the alarm clock, and slowly crawls towards it.
"Did you just say that? Did you really just told me to got up?" I told to the lifeless alarm clock...
I really can't believe I'm actually talking to an alarm clock! A LIFELESS, NOT MOVING, WORTH FOR $2 OF ALARM CLOCK!
Then out of nowhere, a book just hit me in the head! Those books that are like 4 inches thick, yep those kind of books.
"Yes, I told you to get up already! We are already late for school!" a voice that's really been imprinted to my head. That "annoying" voice.
"Ow ow! You didn't have to throw that book at me! It's very delicate you know! I've bought that 'Medical Book for Dummies' for around $10 and you're just going to use it like a basketball?!" I said to her.
"Oh don't worry, if you're not going to get up from there. I'll be throwing these manga books next!" she said as she walks off from my room.
"You'll pay for that JJ!" I shouted to her so that she'll hear me from downstairs.
"Nope! I'd rather save my money than buy some of those stupid book of yours Vince!" she shouted back.
Yes, you heard that right. Ladies and Gentlemen, my name is Vince Christopher, and that girl right th-
"WOMAN!" she shouted in the distance.
"... and that woman right there, for Einstein's sake, can I just call you girl?" I asked back.
"NEVER GONNA HAPPEN WHILE I'M STILL LIVING! PUT THAT ON MY TOMBSTONE ONCE I'M GONE!" she shouted back.
Welp, that "woman" right there is my roommate 'slash' dorm mate 'slash' annoying classmate Jane Jane. I know right! That's a weird name to be picked up. Like if you're just gonna repeat your first name then just do it on a videogame or something. That's why I call her JJ. Honestly speaking, whoever made that name up must be thinking she signed up her videogame name or lacks creativity at all!
"I HEARD YOU SAY THAT!" she shouted
"CAN YOU PLEASE JUST DO THAT VIDEO NONSENSE ONCE WE GOT THERE?! WE ARE ALREADY RUNNING LATE AND YOU'RE STILL NOT DRESSED AT ALL!" she added
I immediately said to her, "Why? Aren't you enjoying the view? You know, you are a very lucky gi- ... I mean woman to see my flawless raw abs! Few people are blessed to see this big babies right here! Some are even begging to see these raw muscles and you're very lucky I let you see them everyday 'willingly"
As quickly as I said that, a pan fresh out from the stove just hit my head! I can still hear the sizzling of something from that, kinda smells like onion or something else.
"ARGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" I SCREAMED TO THE TOP OF MY VOICE!
"Yes, and I am very willing to do this to you everyday. Get changed already!" she said to me
I was about to say some words for rebuttal but as I looked backed, I can see her glaring eyes! Like some next-level anime scene where the predator got a hold of their prey.
I immediately nodded back at her and grinned. She shrugs. I handed her the pan and closed the door.
"Quickly now." she said as I slowly closed the door.
I then took a quick shower, dressed up, and head downstairs. The aroma of that food! I can already tell that it is her favorite dish!
"Seriously? You're letting me eat these fried onions? You do know that they make your breath go wild! Like seriously, it's the first day of our school and here's what you're going to offer?" I irritably said to her.
"Quit your shenanigans Vince, if I didn't drag myself to wake you up then I might have cooked a better dish!" she proudly replied to me.
"Like what?" I asked
"Like, I don't know. Maybe a 'bento'?" she replied in a low voice.
I knew I have to break this awkward situation I've put myself in, so I immediately sat down and prayed. Then as soon as I'm done praying, I clapped my hands twice while saying "Itadakimasu!"
"This weab culture that you've put yourself in is quite annoying, you know?" she said while munching on those crispy onions.
"Correction, it's not a weab culture, it's an Anime Community, and yes I do know that it's quite annoying sometimes." I quickly replied.
"Then why do you continue to do it?" she asked.
"Isn't that the reason, I'm still here?" I replied
"What's the point? There's not even a connection on what you've just said." she questioned
"But you and I have a connection..." I said as I winked at her while she's directly looking at me.
I can see the mixed emotions on her face! Like, yes I know what I did there was insane! But a cheesy line like that would always work on her. She then grabbed the glass beside her plate and drank some water.
"Don't you ever dare to say that line again to me!" she shouted back
"Why darling, don't you like it?" I said as I closed my eyes and crossed my arms.
Then suddenly, I felt a cold substance flowing from my head, as I opened my eyes, the water starts flowing through my face, like a river flowing to the open oceans. Which is in my case, my uniform...
My uniform! Oh now how am I supposed to dry this?
"Don't test me Vince. You know me when I'm frustrated." she said.
"Alright alright, jeez you don't have to show that serious face to me." I quickly replied.
Once we finished eating, we tidy up the place and prepared to go out. I put my shoe on, as the light glimmers the newly-shined shoe, JJ put on some perfume on. "That fragrance" I said to myself, "That fragrance will be remembered."
As we walked out the premises, I took a final look at the house.
"It's nice to actually rent this place, it's beside the beach and close to the mountains, What more could you ever ask?" I asked.
She replied with a two words. "Fast Internet."
"Agreed" I said as I nod in contentment.
I smiled and looked to the floor I closed my eyes as I close the door.
