A Very Awkward Conversation

(Fabian's POV)

Trudy said that lunch was ready and asked me to get the girls. After I got the girls we all sat down, when I realized something.

"Did you get a bigger table, Trudy?" I asked.

"Yes I did, I knew that Amber and Nina were coming so I got a bigger table." Trudy replied.

"So are there any new couples that I should know about, so I can come up with couple names?" Amber asked.

"Well, there is Jerome and Joy and then their is Alfie and Willow." I replied, out of the corner of my eye I saw Mara with a confused look on her face.

"Wow, I never expected Jerome and Joy to get together. Congrats though, you too Alfie and Willow." Nina said.

"Thanks." they all said.

"So, back to the couple names. For Jerome and Joy, Jeroy. And for Alfie and Willow, Walfie." Amber said.

"Those are amazing couple names, thanks Amber!" Joy said.

After that we had some small talk while we finished eating lunch. When we all finished eating I started to head to my to finish un-packing when all the sudden Mara asked if she could talk to me.

"Sure." I replied unsure of what she was going to say.

After everyone left we went into the living room and sat on opposite sides of the living room.

"So, what did you want to talk about?" I asked.

"When Amber asked about the new couples why did you not mention our relationship to her?" Mara asked.

"Mara, I thought I made it clear at the end of vacation. We are not in a relationship, we are just friends." I replied.

"Oh, I thought you were just joking when you said that. I did not realize that you were being serious about that. I thought all the times that we went out, that we were going on dates." Mara said.

"No, when we went out it was just us going out as friends." I said.

"I guess I just miss understood, but can we try a relationship?" Mara asked.

"I can't." I replied.

"Why not? We would make a perfect couple." Mara asked.

"Because I am in love with Nina and we are going to try a relationship again." I said and then I left the living room and went to finish un-packing in my room.

(Nina's POV)

I was going down stairs to talk to Fabian about something, when I heard two people talking in the living room. I looked in side and saw Mara and Fabian talking. I know I should not have eavesdrop, but I just had to.

"Why not? We would make a perfect couple." Mara asked.

"Because I am in love with Nina and we are going to try a relationship again." Fabian said and then he left the room and went to his.

I then went to his room and then knocked on his door. He opened the door looked at me and said "You heard all that didn't you." he said.

"I did. Are you really in love with me?" I asked.

"Yes, I am." Fabian replied.

"I love you too." I said and then I kissed him.

I am sorry that it took so long, I have been very busy with school work, sports, and summer reading.
