P.O.V Rachel ( fire powers) against Rayden ( earth powers )
There he is, Rayden. Standing face to face for the first time. All this time I've been fighting his minions, working my way up to the bigger fishes. "Well Rachel, we finally meet! I must say I've been looking forward to this moment for quite some time now. Show me what's so special about you, why do you think you can take me on?" He looks and talks to me like I'm a child. This is all a game to him, a stupid, sick, insane game. And I'm his game over.
I summon fire in both of my hands. He is an earth element, I need to pay attention to the ground around me or this will be over very quickly. I start running towards him, as expected he summons a wall to block my way. I let the fire flow from my hands and in one blast I get on top of the wall. I shoot three fireballs at him, he blocks all three with a shield of rocks. He disbands the shield and throws the parts at me. I dodge two and blast the other one with a small, quick fireball. I look at him, he yawns! It's like this is nothing to him. In a fire against earth battle he has an advantage, I need to find a different way to fight him, I need to get closer. I start blasting random fireballs at him as a distraction. He blocks them by shooting petals of rock at them causing mini explosions. I send some more fireballs into the explosions causing a wave of smoke.
Apparently, he sees it as his chance too. He starts shooting chunks of ground up in the air, trying to get me on it. I parkour my way around them, making my way towards him. I almost lose my balance when the ground underneath me also shoots up into the sky. I get above the smoke screen and Rayden sees his chance. He sends three chunks of rock flying my way, I manage to dodge one by stepping sideways but my chunk of rock ends there. One of the chunks slams into my shoulder and the other one hits my side. I start falling from the sky, too startled to do anything. I slam into the ground with a lot of force. It feels like all the bones in my body shattered. I try to move but my body is paralyzed. I can't tell if it's because of shock or spine injuries. Everything hurts. My head starts aching and my vision is getting blurry.
Rayden comes walking towards me with a smile on his face as if he had just gotten a puppy. "Glad we settled this, now sleep well," he says as if he knew that I'd pass out at that exact moment. My vision turns black and all my thoughts seem to leave my head, nothing but emptiness remains.
