Daydreams

How it started

Every since I was little I always had a passion for performing. I loved singing even though I wasn't very good. I followed dancing classes since I was 7 and I started acting classes at 9. I was always dreaming about becoming an actress or an popstar. I dreamed of becoming famous and being someone. I secretly still wish that would be reality, but I guess dreams will stay dreams for me. Honestly I never thought I would come as far as I am now, which is at rehearsal for our high school musical. This year we are performing Hamilton which is very exciting to me since it is one of my favourite musicals. When I auditioned I expected to get Peggy/Maria as a role, but instead they cast me as Eliza! Ever since the other cast members found out that Lin-Manuel Miranda is one of my favourite people to ever walk this earth they have been spamming him on twitter to come to our show. It is very sweet of them to try, but it is one of the most unrealistic things I could imagine to happen. Our performance will be in two weeks and at this point everything is kind of a mess. WE ARE NOT READY

One of my friends named Daniel who plays Hamilton forgot his text multiple times during rehearsal, which cased me to miss a line, which caused the ensemble to mess up, which lead to the song being chaos. The second time went a little better though. God, I just hope that everything will go right during our performance.

After rehearsal I had to go straight to dance class. When I came home I saw a message on my phone from Laura, who plays Angelica in our musical, in our group chat. She send a screenshot of her tweet to Lin in which she told him about our show. To my surprise I saw he liked her tweet. I smiled and excitedly replied to her.
