Pearl sighed as she laid in her bed. That Octoling she saw earlier today... her singing was the most beautiful thing that Pearl had ever heard. She replayed the scene in her head over and over again, admiring the girl's stunning voice. when she got home her parents had found out and scolded her for stopping the capture of an Octoling. But she was very happy with the decision she made in the situation, aiding in her escape. Not only was her singing voice stunning, but her eyes were beautiful, unlike anything pearl had ever seen. They were a beautiful blue color, with an iridescent shine.

Coral: Pearl! Come downstairs!

Pearl: Coming ma!

Pearl ran down the stairs to the living room where her mom was sitting. Coral had Neon pink tentacles, that were in a bob.

Coral: Are you practicing your singing Pearl?

Pearl lied.

Pearl: Yes ma.

Coral: Show me.

Pearl stuttered nervously.

Pearl: Of course ma.

She began to sing, but she stuttered while she sang, and she sung way too fast

Coral: That was terrible. Do it again

Pearl kept trying, and didn't give up, and soon enough it became dinner time.

Coral: Stop. it's time for dinner.

Pearl began to walk into the kitchen

Coral: Where do you think you're going?

Pearl: To... eat dinner?

Coral: You don't deserve to eat dinner after that horrid performance you gave me! go to your room!

Pearl: But ma--

Coral: I said go to your room!

It wasn't worth it, fighting in an argument with her mother, for Coral always won.

So Pearl went to her room, laid on her bed and fell asleep thinking about the girl.
