The smell of salty bacon sneaks into mine and Lucys room telling me it was time to get up. I pull the soft purple covers off of me and rub my eyes, yawning. I slip my fluffy bunny slippers onto my feet and walk over to Lucys bed. Her brown hair is still pulled back in a neat bun and her blue eyes firmly closed. I start to softly shake her.

"Wake up Lucy, we need to help give breakfest to the customers and then you need to get ready for dance class" I say firmly as her eyes flicker open.

"Can't mum do the breakfest herself today?" she asks turning onto her side to face the wall.

"No Lucy, Rick is coming today and mum needs to start getting the party ready." I say jumping alittle.

"Oh yeah, his daughter Cara is coming to live with us to right?" I nod at her question "okay I'm up" she puts her hands up and climes out of her bed.

I watch lucy as she changes into her day clothes. Her green boob tube dress-top and greg leggings look beautiful on her especially with her hair in that loose bun. I let a sigh escape from my lips. Me and Lucy may be identical twins, but we are so different.

"Lily! you are such a perve! stop staring at me and get changed!" Her eyes widen as she throws one of my vintage style floral dress at me. I stick my tounge out at her and quickly change into the 1950's style dress. I adjust my signature floppy hat onto my loose brown hair and look at my reflection. I smile, I look good.

"Lily, take that hat off, it doesn't match your dress. You look stupid!" Lucy whines. Its all about fashion and looks with her.

"It's my signature hat lucy" I say before I go out our bedroom door and down the B&B stairs, Lucy closely behind me.

Mums standing over the B&B cooker cooking eggs and bacon. The smell is wonderful and makes me so hungry. Jodie our older sister is pilling plates high with toast, fried tomatoes, bacon, eggs, sausages and mushrooms. Mum looks at us two with a big smile on her face.

"Hey girls, did you have a good night?" mum asks but doesn't wait for an answer "Can you two help Jodie carry in the breakfasts? That's my girls" she smiles a bigger smile as we both grab a plate of food and go out the big double doors into the eating hall.

I look down at the table number on the small peice of white card. Number 17. My eyes skim the big hall until the stand saying 17 comes into view. Calmly I walk over to the  table and read out the order just to make sure its correct.

"Two large English breakfasts, Toast and apple jam, Small bowl of coco-pops, three hot chocolates and one banana smoothie?"

The family nod at each item I say. I give them the order with a smile and walk away from the table, not looking back.

About half an hour later the breakfast run is over and we all slump into the chairs in the kitchen. Mums brow glisening with sweat from the steam.

"Well girls, I will go do the rooms today while you lot get the garden ready" Mum says getting up "Oh and if you see Lolly comming home from Megan's just call up so I know she's home safe" and with that shes going up the stairs to the first B&B room.

Jodie gave everyone a job. Me, I got food duty since I was the best cook, Lucy got poster duty, Jodie was doing the flowers and if Lolly shows up in time, she will be cleaning the garden before we put everything out.

I stand at the kitching top, a line of food set in front of me. Hm? What shall i cook first?

I get out some pots and pans and preheat the oven at 180C. I put flour, sugar, milk, eggs, chocolate, twenty red cherries and 2 cups of coke. Mixing it all together I lick a little off the spoon, the sweet fizz of the coke and the sour taste of the cherries mixed together makes a burst of flavour on my tounge and I smile to myself.  I pour the cake mix into two cake pans and put them in the oven to bake.

While the cake is cooking I put some eggs to boil in water with a pinch of salt and wait for a few minutes, nibbling on some bread. About 7 minutes later I peal the shells and mash the insides and add mayo and cress and put it on to some bread. The sandwiches lay on a small silver try.

I end up making mini pizza, patao salad, roast chicken, bacon butties, chips and cookies. Yummy! I place everything on either a silver tray or pale pink china plate.  

I walk outside and place the food on the table in the garden when i see a stream of purple dyed hair running towards me. Lollys home.

"Hey Lols" I say waving to her.

"Hey Lily, sorry I'm late slept in" She replies breathless "So whats my job? Rick and Cara are coming today arn't they! I can't wait to have another sister!" She says jumping exsitedly.

"Yeah they are and you're on Clean up duty. Get this garden cleaned" I walk away back to the house leaving Lolly to clean peacefully.

The ending credits of my favriout movie in the world come up on screen as my mum calls us down to wait for Rick. The movie is called The Faith Of Chocolate. It's about a bunch of people who make a living of selling home made chocolate and  how a little girl sneaks magic dust into them and everyone turns into donkeys and they have to try and change them back. It's really funny and when Cara comes I'm going to show her it. She will love it I just know she will.

We all stand in a line out side our old woodern door and wait. Lolly bouncing up and down, me and Lucy clinging on to each other and Jodie re-applying her red lipstick. Mum looks just as exsited as we all do. Her boyfriend and his daughter are comming to stay with us, and we are staring a new.

I hear a little car horn toot and a red mini van drives up our drive way. A man with floppy brown hair and kind blue eyes steps out from one side and a 14 year old girl with blue eyes and blonde hair the over. Mum runs over to the man and kisses him.
