Destianna's POV

I had the best birthday party thrown for me. I had all my friends and family around me except my mom Jocelyn and that made me sad but I then think of what she would say if she was here. That night in the middle of the night I felt an evil presence and I turned around and saw Valentine and then felt a needle be put into my neck and I fell to the floor in a heavy thud. The next time I woke up and saw a man sitting on my bed, he said " I do not know if you recognize me but...." I said " Daddy is that you, why did you leave me, why did you and Mommy leave me, I was all alone in the world til my new daddy took me in and he was much better than you ever were and then I met my soulmate and you guys just left me there all by myself! The man soon started to change and I screamed. I jumped out of the bed I was laying on and looked around the room looked just like my room at the Institute. The man from earlier came in and he smirked and stalked towards me. I shove myself deeper into the corner and was saying "Daddy please do not do this, I'm your little girl, please don't hurt me." I sobbed even harder. I started hearing snaps and breaks and noticed he was changing to his werewolf form. He kept stalking closer to me and then he grabbed me and bit my shoulder blade, I screamed out in pain.

I shot up in my bed and I made sure it was my room before I started crying and I looked at my shoulder to see if it was bitten or not and it was. I screamed and everyone came running and they all burst in with apparently the closest thing to their bed when they woke up. Jace was holding a hairbrush, Izzy a blow dryer, Alec had his bow and arrows, Kayla had her seraph blade and Luke had his gun and then when they saw no one in the room murdering me, they lowered their weapons and had worried faces on and Alec and Luke sent everyone else back to bed and that they could handle it. They came and sat on the sides of my bed. We sat in silence for a while and then I told them what happened and cried into Luke's shirt and Alec held my hand and squeezed it and then he started humming our song and I slowly calmed down.

Luke's POV

It brought me joy to see my little girl so happy, I'm glad that she is safe and back home and not in Valentine's clutches anymore, Jocelyn is still in Valentine's clutches but knowing my Jocelyn, she had a plan. Her face lit up with more and more delight with each present, Alec went last with his second gift, Alec called Luke right away when he found what he would be giving Desti and Alec said to Luke " When I saw this, I knew he was the one for her and I bought him and the things he needed right away. When Desti saw the Bernese Mountain male puppy, her face just beamed even more and she looked at Alec with such love and adoration, but he knew his little girl was in good hands. She named the puppy Gabriel Ferdinand.

*Up On The Roof*

Kayla POV

I was thinking about Desti, I didn't try to but I had ended up hearing part of what made me upset and it was not good. I was worried because if she dreamed of our father that meant he was back and it was up to Desti and I to stop him. I then heard the squeak of the roof door opening and turned around and saw it was Jace. He came up to me and asked "Why are you up here it is freezing out here?" He then wrapped an arm around me and pulled me into his side to stay warm. I told him " I came up here to think about Desti, I'm worried about her. She has had such a tough life, and I wasn't there to protect her, I had left her to protect herself but she was just a little girl." I started crying and Jace pulled me into a tight hug. Then Izzy burst onto the roof and shouted "Kayla! Desti needs you!" I pulled out of Jace's arms and ran into the building, I could feel Desti starting to panic. I ran in her room and saw her struggling, I drew the insight rune on me and her and went over them and I was pulled into see what was causing her to struggle. I was trying to find her, I found her in the forest next to our car that we had growing up. I saw little Des and I saw big Des fighting against our father, Big Anna was fighting her father but was also sheltering her younger self. I yelled "Desti! I'm here!"
