There was a girl sitting on the edge of the balcony
Her hair hid the tears flowing down her cheeks.
But her sniffles gave it away that she was crying.
No one saw her sitting there.
Nobody knew.
Nobody cared.
The girl tried telling her friends.
But....
she realized she didn't have any.
She tried telling people.
But they told her to stop being so sensitive
She tried telling her family.
They didn't care either.
Her mother doesn't care about her and dotes on her brother.
Her brother calls her ugly and tells her to get out of his sight everyday.
Her father scolded her for being stupid and dumb.
She then became self-conscious.
She had no friends and she soon got bullied.
But she still said everything was fine.
People talked behind her back.
She heard it but pretended not to.
She put on a mask in front of everyone.
She acted cheerful in order to convince herself everything was alright.
She told herself everything was fine.
But it wasn't.
She told everyone it was fine.
It wasn't.
She smiled everyday.
But her heart was broken.
Honestly, she never fit in with the world.
She was just a loser with no friends.
It was hard for her to even breathe.
She held out her hand but no one holds it.
She sent help but nobody helped her.
At some point she got scared of people's eyes.
She got sick of crying so she tried smiling.
But people started bullying her more.
She couldn't take it anymore.
Her feelings bottled up and soon she knew she couldn't hide anymore.
She knew she was a failure.
She knew she was a disappointment.
She knew that everything was not fine at all.
She knew that she would never be accepted
She tried to make herself happy and smile.
She really tried.
But the pain in her heart didn't go away.
She tried her best to make everything right.
But it got worst.
She started cutting her arms and torturing herself.
Yes, it was pain.
But her heart hurt more.
She continued getting bullied and soon she had enough of torturing herself.
The sadness had engulfed her whole.
She took a step forward and jumped off
In the end, she died.
But she was smiling.
She was in a better place.
In Heaven.
