I sat on the cold chair, as the people with the white coats took my sister away. I instinctively arose from my sitting position, screaming for my last family member I had, my little sister, Lizzy... My brotherly instincts kicked in and I yelled at them. "Lizzie! Come back!" I was crying now, she was the only thing I had. A man in a coat stood, watching me with pity. "Ava," he said uncertainly to the woman with the tight blonde bun dragging my sister away from me forever, as my sister sprinted into my arms. "Let the boy talk to his sister," he said. "One last time. Before we change their names and wipe their memories." What? Change our names? Wipe our memories? I was scared. Scared for the safety of Lizzie and I, scared of these people and bloody scared of what they were going to do to us.

Lizzie and I hugged, and I told her I loved her. "I'm so scared!" She cried, a sobbing mess in my arms. I was scared as hell too, but I couldn't tell her that, could I? I had to put my brave face on and assure her that everything was all right. I needed to be strong. Not just for myself, but for Lizzie. "I know," I whisper softly into her ear. "Liz, everything will be fine. We will escape these people, we will survive and we will not give in." She dried her eyes and nodded in agreement. I gave her one last long hug, before Ava came in and peeled Lizzie away from me. Lizzie gave me one last look as she left, as my little sister who had annoyed me so much in the past had been take from me.

Author's note: Sorry for the short chapter, I just had to get that out of the way so I could write more interesting longer chapters. Thanks guys!
