(Y/N) POV

I had a week off work to recover after my eye surgery but today I would finally be back at work. As tiring as work may be I was bored of being home and ready to be back!

After a lot of procrastination I finally got out of bed and made it to work. I was greeted energetically by my coworker Jessica.

"I've missed you!!" She whined and I laughed hugging her.

We began setting up the coffee shop so we could open and while we waited for customers we caught up.

"So any new boys?" I asked wiggling my eyebrows.

"God (Y/N)!! No!! How's your eyes since the surgery? I wish I didn't have to leave early today for class." She said concerned.

"Oh no it's fine! I'm honestly just happy it worked. I did not want to go blind. Actually... do you know any girls that need somewhere to stay? Leslie walked out on me.." I said while making an espresso.

"Really? What a jerk.. I don't.. oh! My friend just moved back in town and is looking for an apartment but oh never mind." She said blowing the idea off.

"Why never mind?" I asked narrowing my eyes at her.

"It's a guy... I've known Jaebum my whole life and he's super sweet and not a pervert or anything I swear!" She said and I sighed.

Honestly I didn't have very many options and rent would be due soon...

"Fine.." I mumbled and she hugged me

"I'll let him know! Do you have Leslie's key on you?" She asked and I nodded while helping a new customer.

After making it through the morning rush Jessica told me Jaebum was going to stop by to get the key so he can get set up while I'm here and not bother me tonight.

I was actually excited to meet him since he was my good friends childhood best friend and hoped to make a good impression.

The door chimed and Jessica and I both looked up to see who came in. It was a younger guy around our age with dark black hair that was fluffy from the wind. He wore a simple black t-shirt with black skinny jeans but still remained to look so sleek.

I stopped staring and started wiping down the counter when Jessica yelled and ran to him.

"Jaebum-ah!" She yelled and he laughed hugging her.

"Hey Jes." He said patting her head as she was dramatically shorter than him.

Jessica was only 5 foot so I'm sure she was use to being small compared to others.

"This is (Y/N), she just lost her roommate so you guys were meant to live together! It's obviously fate." Jessica said matter of factly.

Jaebum chuckled and I blushed smiling.

"It's nice to meet you, I hope the place isn't a mess it should be clean I'd been home for the past week." I said and he smiled shaking my hand.

"It's not a problem, are you home a lot?" He asked and I smiled.

Since there weren't any customers some talking wouldn't hurt.

"No, I'm here during the day normally. I was recovering from eye surgery but I'm completely fine and not blind." I joked and he laughed.

"Oh okay! I work in a record store down the block so I'm normally gone during the day but sometimes I get the night shift." He explained and I nodded.

As long as he didn't decide to party at 2am I didn't mind his schedule.

I gave him the key and explained the layout some but gave him permission to snoop around if he tried to avoid my room. It's pretty obvious that his room is the one with the made bed and no belongs while mines lived in and has wall decorations.

"Alright I'll see you tonight then, we can get to know each other better then. Here's my number in case you need anything." I said writing my number on a napkin.

"Thanks again, I know it's weird to let a guy live with you but you're a lifesaver." He said before bidding Jessica goodbye and going.

As time went on Jessica left meaning I had the last 3 hours of our shift alone. It was past the lunch rush so it wouldn't be too bad.

I started getting a terrible tingly sensation behind my left eye before everything got really blurry for a second.

I stopped and caught my balance confused by the sudden nausea before shaking it off and taking someone's order.

After 10 minutes the tingling turned into sharp pains and I thought my head was going to explode. I had never had a migraine so intense before and I wanted to crawl in a ball and die.

I wasn't sure if I was going to throw up from pain or pass out but I began swaying slightly and I was very out of breath.

I tried to remain calm and held onto the counter to steady myself. I checked my phone with blurry vision and saw I still had 2 hours left.

Could I make it?

Remember the choices are already made because I did it on the amino with polls. If there was a way to do it here easily I would of
