after jack and i's lunch, we went back to my office and began to try and plan out this cruise.

it was hard, because although jack's one of the top business men, he's constantly joking around and trying to make me smile.

"jack, stop." i say annoyed. "time to focus."

"how am i suppose to focus when i have my beautiful assistant sitting in front of me?" jack says smirking, extending his hand to my thigh.

jack's touch automatically sends shivers down my spine, i forgot what it was like to be touched by him. but i quickly slap his hand off of my thigh.

"you can't do that jack. you're married. i have nate now." i say, not letting my eyes meet his.

the office is silent for a few moments, and feels awkward for the first time. before the door opens up, and reveals nate.

nate instantly smiled when he saw me, earning a smile from me. i was so relieved to see him, he just made me so overwhelmed with a warm comforting feeling.

i got up and hugged him tightly, regaining that safe feeling i always get from him.

"hi mama, how's work?" nate asks, kissing my forehead.

i look to jack and see the disgusted look he has on his face. clearly, someone needs to grow up.

"good, just planning." i answer back to nate, looking up into his pretty eyes as he holds me tightly.

nate nods. "mind if i steal her for the rest of the day, jack?" he asks, looking to jack.

jack rudely, doesn't even look at nate.

nate simply nods to me, with a let's go expression on his face. i grabbed my purse and exited my office not looking back at jack. hopefully i still have a job tomorrow.

i wanna surprise jasmine today, she's been busy with work lately and i want to take her stress away.

it's been one month today since i first laid eyes on her beautiful face. since then, i can't seem to get enough of her. she's been my number one priority.

"nate seriously, where are we going?" jasmine asks curiously for the third time.

"baby i told you it's a surprise. just stop asking, and wait until we get there."

jasmine sighs and sits back into her seat, trying to be as patient as she can.

"it'll be worth it, i promise." i say reassuring her, grabbing her hand. she looks up at me and smiles.

finally, we've reached our destination and i park. it's pitch black outside, so she still can't really see where we are.

i get out of my jeep, and open up the passenger door for her like usual. i grab her hand, and lead her to where our date will be.

after walking for a little, we begin to feel the sand on our feet. jasmine squeezes my hand a little when she feels it.

"aw nate," jasmine says happily. "you took me to the beach we met at."

nate led me further down the beach, and brought me to a spot in the sand where there was a white blanket laid out, with all white pillows, white roses, and white fairy lights.

on top of the table, there was food waiting for us. across from the water, you could see all of the lights from the city. the view was beautiful.

i was in awe, everything was laid out so perfectly. i appreciate him even more for taking the time to do all of this, just for me.

we both took a seat on the white blanket. i looked deeply into nate's eyes.

"thank you for doing this nate. it really is the sweetest thing anyone's ever done for me." i say honestly.

"i did bring you here for a reason.." nate then says, making me feel nervous for some reason.

"jasmine, i know for a fact that you're a special girl. i've never.. connected to someone like i do with you. i know it's something special. i'm falling in love with you, i can feel it. i don't want anyone else to have you. i want you to be mine." nate began, already causing me to fill with excitement.

"jasmine, will you officially be my girlfriend?" nate asks, looking super nervous and so cute. i know he was freaking out inside.

"yes nate, i'd love to officially be your girlfriend." i answer, causing him to have the biggest grin ever on his face.

once hearing my answer, nate instantly kissed me so softly on my lips, then grabbed my hand and led me to the water.

"nate what're you doing?" i ask confused.

nate began to unbutton his shirt and toss it into the sand, exposing his abs and.. that irresistible v-line.

"well, i'm not going to skinny dip myself." he answers smirking, beginning to remove his pants.

i shrugged, and began to do the same starting with my shirt.

"i knew you were a wild girl." nate chuckles, finally getting into the water.

i followed him in, thankfully it wasn't too cold, it was honestly refreshing. this feels like something i'd do in highschool.

nate turned around, and pulled me in close to him, instantly making me warmer. he smashed his lips onto mine, and kissed me with so much passion.

something about this night just answered any remaining questions i had in my head. i know i was positive about one thing for sure.
