My Cold Heart Beats

It's been an hour that i've been hiding and they finally found that I was in my room.

"Sateko! Open this door right now."

"It wasn't just me it was Azusa's idea so leave me alone there is no way i'm opening that door."

"Kitten I will personally kick this door down just to get at you."

"I'd like to see you try Rapunzel."

"Rapunzel!?"

"Ha she got you good Rapunzel."

"Shut up Yuma."

"Yeah shut up Giant and go climb your beanstalk."

"Giant!? I'm not giant your just short!"

My phone started ringing a ringtone that personally made for Laito.

Go on girl let me touch that body you know I like it when you drop it low.

I pick up the phone. "What do you want Pervert."

"Ouch so mean Sugar Cube."

"Answer the question before they bust down the door."

"They? What did you do now?"

"I may or may not have pulled a prank on them in the hallway during school that made them scream."

I heard Laito snicker and start laughing over the phone.

"Oh my dear sister how I do love you so much."

"All right now what do you want?"

"Just wanted to know why Subaru came home screaming he isn't a temper tantrum toddler."

"Oh thats cause me and him went at it with the name calling in class and everyone was laughing at the names I called him."

"Hold on make a name for Ayato and i'm gonna put you on speaker."

Too easy.

"Ok Sugar let him have it. Whats Ayato?"

I spoke in a cute little girl voice. "An Oreo."

"OI! I AM NOT AN OREO."

Laito started laughing again.

"Fine then. Doll Whats Laito?"

I used the same voice and said. "A Pervert."

This time Ayato laughed at Laito.

"Hey Melody whats Reiji?"

"A Buzzkill."

Ayato and Laito were now cracking up so hard I thought they weren't gonna breathe.

"Sattie whats Shu?"

"Lazy."

"Bunny what's Subaru?"

"A temper tantrum toddler."

"HEY! I HEARD THAT. Fine. Whats Kanato"?

"The sweetest thing ever."

"Awww Bunny your so sweet. Have fun dealing with the Mukami's."

"You mean Azusa Bookworm Giant and Rapunzel? I'm doomed."

I hung up the phone.

"WE HEARD THAT YOU KNOW!" They all shouted at me.

I opened the door and when I went to kick them they grabbed a hold of me before I could. Or at least I thought it was all of them. It was just Ruki who pushed me back in and locked the door.

"Go Away you two I have business to attend to."

"No Fair Ruki I wanna play with Kitten too."

"Lets just go Kou he ain't gonna open the stupid door."

I heard them walking away and turned to look at Ruki who was now smiling at me.

"You know when you look at me like that your actually kinda cute."

I felt my face heat up and I looked away.

Ruki's P.O.V

This was gonna be my chance. This girl will be mine. First things first is to get her heart racing. This is where all those stupid cheesy love novels come in handy.

"I mean it you know. You are so cute sometimes I just wanna squeeze you to death."

She shifted in my arms. I wasn't lying. She really is adorable.

"Why Sateko I do believe you are blushing my white haired angel."

She jumped up and was playing with her hair she went to walk out of the room.

"I'd rather deal with Rapunzel and Giant than deal with whatever torture technique your trying to use."

I put my arms around her stopping her from opening the door.

"This isn't a torture technique. It's just me showing affection. I will not lie to you about how cute you are when you act like this. No wonder your brothers didn't want to give you up."

She shifted again. Hasn't she ever had anyone tell her this stuff?

"I'm not used to affection. I am just a cold hearted girl version of Subaru."

Is that what she thinks? Did she never get affection and love from anyone? Her mother? Her father? All the things hidden about this girl is intriguing. I wonder how she even made it this far in life.

"My mother didn't care about me. She loved Subaru more. You could see it in her eyes when she looked at him. She acted like I didn't exist. Father didn't care either. When I lived with him the only time he noticed me is when he beat me. I was pretty much just raised by my brothers and Beatrix. The whore named Cordelia tried to teach me to be like her but between all her flirting with Richter and forcing things on Ayato she never had time thank god."

This girl really is something special isn't she.

Sateko's P.O.V

I had told someone the short version of my life finally. My heart felt really warm just being with him. It also beat fast while his arms hold me closer to him. I guess if I had to marry one of these boys it would be him or Azusa.

"That explains why you don't smile often. You truly believe no one cares. Well Your brothers care. I care. We all care what happens to you and I especially do. I will say this and not because i'm fighting with my brothers for you but because I mean it. I love you more than anyone ever could. That includes your brothers. Don't ever forget it."

With that he let me go and walked out of the room. His words rang through my head over and over.

I love you more than anyone ever could.

I love you too Ruki. But I will never be able to say it just yet. That doesn't mean I won't try though. I'll never let anyone take you from me. I will tell you soon so just wait for me a little longer.

With those thoughts I Went and got in my bed. I drifted off to sleep only hearing Ruki's Voice
