Simply, Eliza

Eliza didn't know why she had introduced herself as 'Eliza Hope Marsh'. She had always introduced herself as Eliza. Simply, Eliza. But 'Harry James Potter' as he introduced himself seemed... different. It may have been the shock of white hair that fell on his forehead. Or the strange lightning bolt scar that was now his signature. Or possibly the fact that he was sat in the back of the room apart from everyone else while his sparkling green eyes were just craving some affection.

Perhaps mentioning her middle name as Hope would give him some.

In the time she had known him he certainly needed it with those horrid relatives of his. And he might need it, seeing as he was going to some fancy boarding school away from her. It was no secret among the children at St. Gregory's Primary School that Eliza was Harry's only friend.

But what did Eliza know? She was after all simply Eliza and her only problems would be settling in at Stonewall High and trying to make some friends.

Oh, how wrong she was.

This is the prologue for Simply, Eliza which will follow alongside Buck Up, Potter but in Eliza's point of view. Buck Up, Potter is being posted on fanfiction.net under the username abby1217 so if you guys would like to see more of Eliza or my twist on the Harry Potter series you can find me there. Simply, Eliza won't be posted until later on seeing as it's alongside Harry's time at Hogwarts and as of December 30th, 2018, 3:24 AM Harry has yet to even find out his a wizard. I might just write out the whole story and post it later on we'll see.
