Personally, one of the most intriguing relationship between two characters are Sasha and Connie.
From the beginning of the story or when they meet, they both have an outgoing or goofy personality, which helped them to come together by doing silly stunts or having one another's back.
And as the story progress, the two characters goes through so much shit, such as witnessing their comrades dying and having to deal with their personal troubles from the separation of their villages, which helps to bring them closer together as Sasha can understand somewhat about Connie's situation, even though Connie's situation is way worse than her's as his village was destroyed alongside the inhabitants.
However, we see Sasha putting her hands on Connie's shoulders. It might not mean anything romantically, but it does signal at least a little that she is concern for him.
You can say the same for Mikasa and Eren, but I found the progress of the relationship with Sasha and Connie so rewarding. I'm afraid that if one dies, which might likely be Connie then it will be very interesting how her or his death would affect one another.
