I love how Levi is struggling to find the right words to explain himself, and trying so hard for them to understand, like, why are you being so cute, Levi. Haha. Basically, Levi is trying to make Eren aware of the situation he’s in, not to be mean or blame him, but in order for him to learn from his mistakes and move forward, he first has to accept his weakness and what he can’t do at the moment. Basically, learning from your mistakes and where you need to improve is an essential process to becoming better. Realizing he can’t harden his body, Eren needs to realize where he wants to go with this now. And for the last par, about the smell in the walls…he’s basically saying that although it may seem like a certain way now, look on the brighter side, the grass is greener on the other side and there’s always hope, despite the hell of a world they live in. There’s hope to find more freedom in the world they live in, rather than the walls they’ve closed themselves in.

Like, how do you understand Levi language, Hange? Only you. She is so cute.
But, more importantly, this is just my favourite moment and is just sooo special because it really goes into depth, tells us so much about these twos relationship and just how well these two know each other. Like, Hange knows Levi so well, she knows exactly what he’s trying to say even when he himself can’t articulate it properly.She just knows him so well…a little too well, and it’s just perfect. It’s like basically saying “I know your heart, Levi” and what you can’t express through words, I’ll express them for you. Others may not understand what you’re saying, but I’ll always get you. I’ll always have your back. I’ll always see right through you. Like, these two must be really close for her to be able to express his words in such a way for others to understand and say exactly what he was thinking, and say it perfectly and it’s just the sweetest thing ever and it has my heart gushing.

And I dunno, man, but these two just give me so many feeeeeels <3 I can’t explain it, but I just can’t stop gushing over this moment. And if Levi isn’t thinking “Let’s get married” after this moment, something is wrong. They’re totally secretly married though. Like, who else would understand that?
Point is, Hange knows Levi, to the point of knowing his speech patterns, and what’s he’s saying even without saying it at all. Hange knows Levi language.
