Jenna

"Hello everyone! Ms. Sully is here. I hope everyone pays attention to what I'm going to say, okay?" She wrote on the whiteboard the title of the day and I poked Carrie and asked her,

"Do you think she knows who did that thing?"

"Shhh... she'll hear us. We're like 1 meter from her. Seriously."

"We're at the back. Duh! I want to know what's inside the box that she promised to give us
since like last year."

Carrie sighed and rolled her eyes, "It's probably a book or something. She's not gonna get you a handbag or something. She's a weird person, remember? She gave me a plane ticket when it's my turn. She must really resent me. There's no airport in Blackpool!"

"Carrie and Jenna! Please go to the principal's office right now!" Ms. Sully shouted and they're both were watching her standing in anger.

The principal's office was far from our classroom and I was enjoying escaping my Chemistry Class but little did I know once Carrie and I in the office there's no turning back. Not even once.

"What Mr. Sullivan has in mind for today? We didn't do anything wrong, right?" I asked, putting my arm on Carrie's shoulder.

"Yeah. I know! Ms. Sully mustn't have heard our stupid conversation!" Carrie sarcastically replied.

The principal's office was just in front of us and we looked at each other. It 's pretty rare for someone to get called by the principal especially if the words were passed on from a teacher like Ms. Sully. I opened the door slowly and while it creaked open I saw two bodies sitting on the chair.

"Mom?! What are you doing here?! And who are you?!"

A man dressed in black attire greeted me, "It's very nice to meet you, Jenna. I'm Hector Dixon. I helped your mom fixed her car. I've heard a lot of things about you from her."

I awkwardly accepted his handshake followed by Carrie. The principal clapped his hands and remarked, "Well! Well! Since all of you are already here, let's continue the discussion, shall we?"

"What discussion?" Carrie and I sat on the chairs and the principal stared at them.

"It's about your little brother. Harry! Right? The man beside your mother can help you. He 's one of my trusted... friend. Hector? You can start the interrogation session now."

Hector cleared his throat and peered on our bewildered faces, "What happened on New Year's Eve? Did you saw Harry?"

"No-Yes. He was with me in the house. It was kinda gloomy outside and... I urged him to go to bath. When I went upstairs, the bathroom was empty. Only the bathtub was filled with water. I thought he went off somewhere. He always did that, right mom?"

"Yeah. Harry is always like that. But sweetie... I looked everywhere for him... Harry is missing! He's gone!" Mom was crying and Hector gave her a tissue and comforts her back.

"Did you notice anything strange when you're in the house? Like when your little brother went to the bathroom?"

I cleared her throat, fixing my hair, and answered, "No. But I did notice something. The tv was out of signal and there was this little earthquake that suddenly occurred."

Hector caressed his goatee, shut his eyes and asked, "Sullivan? Can I ask your permission to get this 2 girls to go home right now? No. Not just this two girls. Everyone in this school too."

The principal nodded in agreement and speak to the microphone, "Ladies and gentleman..."

Cassie nudged my arm and whispered in her terrified voice, "This is crazy! We need to discuss it tonight."
