--Chapter 1 - "Of course I'm listening"--
"So how's it going between you and Drew?" Michelle, my bestie ask while driving her hot pink car
"Idk.. We haden't go out lately and I started thinking of breaking him up," I said before shrugging.
"Oh.. WAIT.WHAT DID YOU JUST SAID!?" she said stopping the car. "You heard me," I said while shrugging. I do a lot of shrugging lately
"But you can't! The bee queen of high school can't be single and Drew is like the hottest guy in school! You must be kidding me Rach!"
"Maybe it's fine for me to be single once in a while," I said, shrugging again. "Now drive before we're going to be late"
"Whoa whoa since when did you care about getting late?" She asked sounding so shocked
"Just drive already!" I said before sighing.

As we started walking, people started giving us a clear path to walk. By 'us' I mean me, my bestest friend Michelle, which has the same brown hair as mine, and she has grey eyes while I have blue eyes. my second bestest friend Clair, which is talkative and she's kinda intimidating but she's a great friend, she has stunning red hair that is so so stunning, next to her is her boyfriend Alec, which is a the greatest soccer player in our school, he has broad shoulders and abs that all the girls would die for. Behind him are the twins, Jaosn and Kayson, none of us really know how to seperate them, same dirty blonde hair, same green eyes, same dimples, same height, everything's same, but now, Jason coloured his hair to natural brown while Kayson's still blonde. Beside Jason is Nadya which is clinging to his arm. Nadya is his new boyfriend that is quite pretty and have dirty blonde hair and hazel eyes.
"Where's drew?" Alec ask, looking from left to right. "I dunno," I answered looking calm but deep inside, I was looking for him. Even though we only dated for 3 months, I really like him but I started doubting that he has fewer feeling than me. "Earth to Rachel. Earth to Rachel. Rachel? Are you there?" Clair snapping me out of my thoughts. "Yea? What? What happend?" I said. I bet I am looking like am idiot. "we're here," Clair said with a 'duh' voice. I looked around that I realised we're standing in front of my locker, our usual first destination of the day.
4 periods went by and I haven't seen Drew anywhere and it's time for lunch. We sat at our usual table which is in the middle of the cafeteria. I barely touch my food, I just keep on staring at the empty chair which is suposed to be Drew's sitting place. Lunch pass and all I've said was 'yea', 'i know right', 'totally' but my friends just go with the flow bcoz they probably knew I was upset and that's why I love them.
Time has past and I got no text, call or amything from Drew. Since my car is broken, I need someone to drive me home, so I call Michelle. After 3 rings, she answered "hey rach 'sup?" "hey.. umm.. can you give me a ride home?" "sorry babe, I have to see my brother's game," well that was disapointing. "ok that's fine maybe I'll call Jason or Kayson.. see ya later bye," I didn't wait for a reply so I hung up. I got cheerleader practice after school so only the girls from the cheer team is here and of course they know me but I don't know them.
After calling Kayson, he told me that he'll give me a drive home but I'll have to wait about half an hour bcoz he's quite far away from the school at this moment. So here I am sitting at school with no one besides me. It's quite funny how almost everyone at school know me and I only got 5 close friends, 1 boyfriend, 8 ex-boyfriends (I know that is quite few for a queen bee like me but yeah I'm not a slut okay)
