The band had done two TV appearances, a radio performance and then an early evening concert to 35,000 French fans. And although the boys were tired, Harry and Louis were very excited at the thought of the romantic evening they had planned in the city of Paris.
The boys got back to the hotel, showered changed and got dressed in their black dinner suits. Yep, just two platonic friends going out for a meal. Nothing strange about that.
Harry wore a cream silk scarf; his Valentines present from Louis. He had yet to give Louis his gift. That was coming later. Once they were seated at their table they held hands and didn't let go until their food arrived. This was their night and they didn't care who saw them. Even so, Harry made sure their table was in a secluded alcove. They talked quietly about their future, laughed with one another and declared their love. It was perfect, well almost perfect.
After a shared dessert of chocolate souffle, Harry ordered a bottle of champagne. Once the waiter has filled up the crystal flutes. Harry picked up his glass and gave Louis his, they kissed and toasted each other.
As Louis raised his glass to drink he saw something gleaming amongst the champagne bubbles. Taking a spoon from the table he scooped put a white gold thick band ring, Speechless he looked into Harry's smiling face. Harry held his hand out, palm up and Louis dropped the ring in his hand. Louis stunned expression then turned into the biggest smile and then giggles as Harry got down on one knee.
"I promise Louis Tomlinson to love you with all of my body heart and soul. I will respect you and protect you with my life. I could not imagine a future without you. Love you. Be mine forever and say you will marry me."
"Oh, Hazza, wow."
Harry wipes a fallen tear from Louis's face.
"Harry Styles you rock my world. You keep me grounded and my heart feels like it's bursting with love. I am yours, now and forever. You complete me."
Harry looked into Louis's face desperate to hear the word. However, Louis was too mesmerized by the ring on his finger. Harry coughed twice to get Louis's attention.
"Oh, shit," Louis gasped as he looked at Harry waiting with raised eyebrows. Louis covered his hands as he giggled. "Of course, I'll fooking marry you, Harry."
"Jeez. Keep a man hanging why don't you, Harry said, and then pulled Louis's face closer so he could kiss the lips that now belonged to him. Louis immediately opened his mouth and allowed Harry's tongue to taste him. The passionate kiss ended when Harry pulled away. Both panting. desperately and Harry trying to find his breath as Louis's blue eyes were mesmerizing him.
Louis licked his lips thinking about ravishing Harry's body. He finally pulled away from Harry's emerald eyes and looked down at the ring which held 6 small colourful stones.
"I have never seen anything like this before, Haz."
"It's called a rainbow ring. You get to choose which colour stones you want."
