Chapter 11

A week passed as if it were hours. i healed extremly well, they were releasing me tomorrow. Nick had our getaway somewhat planned, "once your released, we are gonna continue moving, only to stop for the basic needs." It was as if we were 'running away together', we would start our own lives away from the scenery we both knew.

We would be free of all government affairs for a while, no, free from everything.

"It seems like a vacation," I sat up in the warm bed i had been laying in. Nick looked puzzled, "Us

leaving to be free." he still starred at me with a confused expression that screamed at me. "I guess it the 13 year old in me, Im so young, why dont they question me being alone?"

Nick stalked to the bed, "Youre not alone" he grinned widly, hidding something. "They meant our guardians silly." He turned around, then with a groan he turned back.

Except this wasnt nick, he was taller, he was older and he was darker skinned. The man that stood in front me had an olive skin color, his hair was short and dark brown, his eyes were bright green. He had the same cloths on just they fit tighter on his newly muscular body, he had a tatoos and sun glasses.

"Hey katie," He said, voice deeper but matured too. "look like you havent seen uncle josh in a while."

I blinked, shocked. "Nick? wow. Is that another one of your vampire powers?"

"I would barley call it a power, you can turn your self into a wolf, i can turn myself into what ever my mind has clear detail of. No big difference." Nick shrugged shrinking down to his normal self. "One thing i really cant get enough detail in my head about is you."

I bit my lip, "thats not creepy at all." I smiled firmly for a minute in silence, a nurse past the door then she walked in. This nurse was the same as all the others, dark skin, brown hair and eyes, same type of shrug but in varieties of color.

I sighed watching nick walk out as the nurse stepped in, she looked as though she was disgusted by something. "Hello mrs. Katie, i am Nurse Carrie, i will be taking care of signing you out today. Can i ask you a few minor questions before i take some test?" Carrie spoke politely, she spoke to me as if i were an adult.

I sat up, my arm popped as i lifted my body, "yeah sure. Do what ever."

Carrie stepped over a cord to be right beside me, "i need to weigh you, so could you please come with me?" I nodded standing up, she led me to the hallway were a scale was placed against a wall. "Stand up there. Stand up tall. 120, nice improvement. Youve grown to be 5.6 about one inch since you came... And gained, 26 pounds" i nodded stepping off, we went into another room were 'uncl e josh' was sitting.

"Hello, are you Mr. Josh war?" Carrie questioned.

"Yeah, nice to meet you ma'am." Josh shook her had then we all sat down. I looked nicks fake body over multiple times before they began talking.

"Shes a healthy weight for her hight and her blood seems to be healthy as well. There are no signs of trama from the shots, but she has healed oddly quickly for the amount of wounds shes had." Carried informed with mixed expressions.

"Good good, what time will she be able to leave?" Josh asked leaning back into his chair.

Carrie lifted a paper on her clip board then looked to josh,"Well, probably not tomorrow, we'd like to keep her for a little while longer. Just to figure out how shes healing so quickly."

Once i returned to my room, i sat down looking at nick who was nick now, "i refuse to stay here any longer."

"You wont, were sticking our plan whether the hospital likes it or not." Nick told me, his eyes locked on mine as he sat by me.

"Nick, i don't want to be fugitives for every country!" I announced.

Nick smiled, "oh we wont be,"
