Stuck In A Nightmare//Tamaki x Haruhi

: Chapter Six :

Haruhi's POV

Tamaki lays in bed asleep. I can't help, but watch him. He's so adorable. He's even more adorable when he's relaxed and sleeping. Sure we are all in this nightmare together, but I am getting worried that time is running out. I hope he can figure it out. Its not just the riddle he needs to figure out. Its something else that I can't lay my finger on. I know its something of fear that is locked up deep inside him, but I don't know what and he doesn't know what.
I walk over to him and pull his hair behind his ear. A little smile appears on my face as he opens his eyes. Before hr could see me I take a few steps back and hop up onto his dresser. Tamaki's eyes flutter as he looks around his room. His eyes land on me and a smile grows on his face, as well.
"Why are you here? Watching your senpi sleep?"
I roll my eyes. Even though that's exactly what I was doing.
"Of course senpi, what else would I be doing?" I sarcastically respond.
"I don't know, but is this still a dream?"
"It never was a dream, Tamaki."
"Then what is it?"
What I could say right now could change everything for worse or for better.
"Its a nightmare."
"I know, but I can see you here and you don't hate me here."
"Tamaki, I'm dead here and you're stuck here. Plus I don't hate you."
"You're just saying that cause its not real."
"Tamaki, I'm as real as you could ever get."
"I have a weird question."
"I don't like the sound of that."
He chuckles a bit before sitting up in bed.
"Can I touch you?"
"Um..."
"Wait! Ugh! No! Wrong words!" He sighs. "What I meant was if I was to touch your hand would I feel you?"
I honestly have no idea. I never thought that it could work.
"I don't know."
"Can w-we.. Try?"
I roll my eyes and put my hand out. I so badly want this to work cause maybe, just maybe he'll wake up. Tamaki slowly and fearfully reaches for my hand. I'm afraid too. His hand millimeters away from touching mine. As he touches my hand his hand goes right through mine. Tamaki slumps his head.
"I thought it would work.."
"Tamaki.. When you wake up you will be able to feel me again."
I vanish then and there. As if my connection with him was just broken. Almost as if I was holding his hand and I just let go. Please Tamaki, wake up.
