I stared at the boys, mainly prodigy. Then I grabbed bre's hand and slowly backed out of the room. Once we were out we ran to the dressing room got our clothes then ran out the front door.

Bre: bitch I told you we were gonna get caught !

She screamed at me

Sri: shut the hell up your only making this situation worse

I said as I stopped in the parking lot and looked at her

Bre: why can't we just get normal jobs like normal teenagers

Sri: cause they don't pay as well.. What person you know in our school that makes $300 a night besides us

Bre: I swear if Mrs. Lisa finds out I'm gonna whoop your ass myself

(A/N: Mrs.Lisa is their foster mother)

Sri: hit me then!

Before she was about to attack me we saw the boys looking at us with our Christmas outfits on and shocked looks on their faces.

Bre: what the hell y'all starin at?!?

Ray: is this why y'all haven't been hanging round us? This is your job? You're strippers?

Sri: no we just came for amateur night , sarcasm included

Prince: why are y'all strippers?

Bre: cause we have to be!

And with that she grabbed my wrist and we ran off towards our house.

<- 2 weeks later Thursday January 10, 7:18am Southern California high ->

So far we've been able to ignore the boys not so much Nyla because she's a h.b.i.c . We scheldule basketball practice after school , council meetings during lunch, and we help the juniors with campaigning during free period. But today we weren't so lucky.

We say down in biology and waited for mr. Barnes to give us our assignment

Mr. Barnes: I need you all to make 3 groups of 7 and go put your safety goggles on for the lab

I waited for everyone to get done and they gave me weird looks because usually im one of the first ones to get everything as soon as I reached for a pair my hand touched another person's. And that person was no other than RayRay. I rolled my eyes picked another pair then sat down at the round table with bre and jia.

Princeton: can we join your group?

Bre: no

Jia: yes

They look at eachother , me and bre rolled our eyes as they sat down and stared at us

Roc: are you guys ignoring us?

Bre: *mumbles* we're trying

Then the boy rodger came up to me and tapped me on my shoulder.

Me: yes?

Rodger: hey nia

Me: hi

Rodger: here *gives her $100*

Me: what's this for?

Rodger: do you break in virgin's?

Me: what the- ? I'm a virgin *stands up*

Rodger: I saw you at pinky's over Christmas and I figured-

Me: *gives him his money* get tf out my face *pushes past him and runs out the door*

Everybody: *shocked*

I got up and ran after Sri , when I got around the corner she ran into the girls bathroom. I stopped outside it, eh Yolo. I went in after her and saw her crying by the sinks

Me: Sri?

Sri: leave me the hell alone prodigy

Me: what did we do?

Then she looks at me with tears in her eyes

Sri: *turns to him* I'm not proud to be a stripper... I-I Just don't have a way to pay for school , food , and clothes.

Prodigy: *lifts her chin up* tell me what's going on .

For some reason I felt like I could tell him anything. I mean I haven't even known this boy for a month but I want him to listen to me an understand.

Me: my parents left me and bre when we were 5 for....

I told him everything that happened to bre and I since our parents left. He just sat there on the floor with me and listened.

Me: boys think that just because I'm a stripper I'm not a virgin. I have feelings and all boys want at this school is to pay me and hump me and spread rumors.

Prodigy: well I dont *stands up* let's go back to class

Me: *stands up* i don't want to be in school anymore today

Prodigy: well don't you want to be vali?

Me: missing half of a day won't hurt my spotless record

Prodigy: *laughs* where you want to go, we've been in the bathroom for an hour... I'm pretty sure second period is almost over

Me: can we go out

Prodigy: *smiles* sure

We caught the bus and went downtown to the board walk

(a/n: I've never been to Cali.. Even though my who family's been.. So idk if they have a boardwalk downtown, just go along with it)

Prodigy: hungry?

Me: panera bread?

Both of us: yup *laughs*

After panera bread we went to the mall and looked around, we walked in 'things remembered' and I saw this beautiful necklace that was to die for

Me: O.M.G

Prodigy: what?

Me: that is amazing

Prodigy: *laughs* c'mon let's go home before you rob the store

Me: *pouts* okay

I said goodbye to the necklace as prodigy laughed at me and we caught the bus to the end of my corner. walked to my house and stopped at the door, I walked up the steps and turned around

Me: so I'll see you at school tommorrow

Prodigy: yea

Me: *looks down awkwardly * okay

Prodigy: *pulls her chin up* *kisses her*

Me: *deepens kiss*

Prodigy: *pulls away*

I stare at him in amazement ... Did that just happen?

Prodigy: bye, I'll call you later

Me: *speechless*

He laughed then walked away, I watched him walk down the street until he was no longer in sight then ran up to my room and screamed into my pillow
