Chapter 39

"Why are you back so soon?" Mel asks as I storm back into camp.
"I have to leave" I say ignoring her question "now"
"Um....what?" she says surprised.
"I'm leaving wether someone's driving me or I'm walking" I say and walk to my tent.
"Hey girl where's Luke?" Nai asks.
"I don't know or care" I yell getting my bag and walking back out.
"Uh...I'll take you back" Mel says awkwardly and we walk in silence to the car.
"I'm sorry I'm taking my crap on you" I apologise after a loooonnggg awkward silence.
"It's fine, what happened?" she asks politely.
"Um....Luke kissed me.." I say looking down at my feet.
"Wait, WHAT???" She screams and i slap her shoulder "Oops sorry"
"It's fine" I say bluntly.
"Did you like it?" she smiles, elbowing my side.
"I'm going out with Carter" I say angrily.
"You're not answering the question"
I sigh and ignore her.
"Still not answering it, did you like the kiss or not?" she asks me grinning madly.
"I can't believe your amused by this"
She raises her eyebrows and I sigh again.
"I don't know if I liked it or not, it just happened" I admit and Mel squeals "but I'm not focusing on him because Carters in LA"
"Didn't you just leave?" Mel asks.
"Yeah but he wants to live her, ditto Nash and Cam. They just got there own apartment"
"Oh awesome! You think you could hook me up with Cam?" she smiles.
"You and Cam?" I laugh and she looks angry "Okay okay I'll try"
We walk to her car and don't talk the whole ride.

Mel drops me off and I sneak inside hoping Carter won't here me.I tiptoe into my room and peak in.
I see Carter on top of my bed and I start to come behind him I see a girl underneath him.In my own room...Without saying a word I run out.
Carter said he loved me, he said he loved me...
I take out my phone and dial a number.
"Hey" I sob into the phone.
"What's wrong???!" he replies worried.
"Um...Carter...he" I manage to whisper.
"Where are you I'll come pick you up" he says quickly.
"I'm a few blocks down from my house" I say and wipe my tears.
"Okay I'll be right there" he says.
"One last thing" I say.
"Yes?"
"Your the best Cam" I smile even though I'm crying still.
"Thanks Autty, I'll be right there"
"Mmm" I say and hang up.
