New boyfriend?

I am so nervous, I've never been on a date before. I don't even know if it's a date but I like him so it's going to be interesting. I don't wear anything too nice just some jeans and a t-shirt. I hear my phone go off, it's Charlie.

Charlie: I'm on my way!
Devon: Okay, I'm ready.

About 5 minutes later I hear a knock on the door. I hurry up down stairs as my older brother stops me before I go.

Alex- Where are you going?
Devon- Why would you like to know?
Alex- Haha have fun!
Devon- Thanks.
Alex has always been there for me. After dad died he has been there to make me happy and comfort me. He will always be my best friend.

I open the door and see Charlie, I smile before we start leaving.
Charlie- You ready?
Devon- Yeah! What are we doing?
Charlie- I think we should go to the cafe, is that okay?
Devon- Yes definitely.
We keep talking about things while walking. He is so cute. We find a table and order our food. We start to talk about football since we both play.
Charlie- How long have you been playing for?
Devon- 7 years I think.
Charlie- Really? Me too!
Devon- That's so cool!
Charlie- Are you going to the Norway cup?
Devon- Yes I am, are you?
Charlie- Yep.

*skip to end of meal*

Charlie- Do you want me to walk you home?
Devon- Yeah that would be nice.
He holds my hand as there's butterflies in my stomach, I can't wait to tell Emily! We get to my house and he stops.
Charlie- I had fun today.
Devon- Yeah me too.
He moves closer to where I can practically feel him breathing on my face.
Charlie- Devon, I like you a lot.
Wait. What?
Charlie- Are you okay?
As we're still close to eachother I kiss him. Wow. It's was passionate, not my first kiss but it was the best.
Devon- More than okay.
We both laugh.
Charlie- D-do you want to be m-my g-girlfriend?
Devon- Yes.
I give him one more kiss before going inside.
Alex- Ooo someone has a boyfriend!
Devon- Shut up!
Mom- Who has a boyfriend?
Jack- DEVON HAS A BOYFRIEND!
Jesus why is my family so annoying!
Mom- You have a boyfriend?!!
She sounds way too excited.
Devon- Yeah is that a big deal?
Jack, Alex, Mom- YES
We all laugh as I roll my eyes and run upstairs. I text the group chat.
Marcus, Emily, Martinus
Devon- Guys guess what!
Marcus- What?
Emily- How was your date?!
Martinus- What date, with who?
Devon- With Charlie.
Emily- Oooo does someone have a boyfriend?
Devon- How did you know?
Marcus- YAY!

I'm texting on the group chat and I'm happy for Devon but kind of sad too. I've liked Devon for a while now but we're best friends, nothing more. I turn off my phone and go to bed.
