Chapter 2 : Let's Party Until We Can't

Jordan groaned as her phone begin to buzz right when she was about to go to sleep. She snatched her phone off the dresser " Hello" she said the irritation clearly in her voice." Well damn is this a bad time?" August said his voice making Jordan smile."No not at all. Why what's up" Jordan said her voice a little higher then it usually is."Well I was wondering if you wanted to go out with me" August asked waiting patiently for Jordan's response. Jordan begin to smile this was the first time August asked her on a date before "Yeah I'd love too"Jordan whispered being cautious not to wake Sean up. August laughed at Jordan's eagerness "Wear something casual but sexy" he growled into the phone his southern accent coming out. Jordan nodded her head acting as if August could hear her "Oh okay see ya in fifteen minutes" Jordan said knowing she would have to tell Sean something because if he woke up without her beside him he would go crazy. "Got to lie to the hubby" August said as he let out a manly chuckle. "Shut up now bye" Jordan said placing her phone back on the dresser and walking over to Sean. "Sean, Sean baby wake up" Jordan said poking at his broads shoulders. "What the hell do you want at 3:30 in the morning Jordan" Sean spat as he glared at Jordan."Chelsea just called and said one of my coworkers had to miss work and I have to take her client" Jordan said rolling the lie off her tongue with ease."Whatever Jordan" Sean said rolling over wrapping the covers even more around him.Jordan sighed as she walked to her closet and got out a simple yet cute outfit. She slipped her clothes on easily happy that she had got in the shower after work. After putting on her clothes she grabbed her sneakers and went into the bathroom to fix her hair and makeup. After adding the finishing touches she looked over herself once more then walked  downstairs calling August when she was outside of her house." I'm ready babe" Jordan said pacing back and forth as she waited for August. After ten minutes August pulled up and stopped. Jordan smiled as she got into the car giving August a hug before they drove off. "Where are we going" Jordan asked as she bounced up and down like a 15 year old girl. "Oh my friend Christopher's having a party and I wanted you to go with me" he said making a turn and pulling up to a beautiful large house with a great amount of people everywhere. Jordan shook her head laughing she hadn't been to a party in soo long." Well come on I'd love for you to meet Christopher" August said pulling Jordan once he parked the car and she was out of it. Jordan scrunched up her face that name sounded so familiar to her but she just shook it out she was about to have a good time with her fuck buddy. Once they walked into the house their noses were filled with the strong smell of alcohol, weed, and sweat a smell Jordan was all too familiar with being the big party girl back in her college days. "August you made it" a voice yelled causing August to squint his eyes then walk over to a long black couch where there were multiple people passing around a hookah. "Hey Chris" August said dapping the guy up."Oh I see you brought a friend" Chris said looking at Jordan but not getting quite a good look at her. "Yeah this my friend Jordan" August said introducing everybody to her and when Jordan looked at Christopher she gasped. "Chris got up and pulled Jordan with him up the steps going into a empty bed room "Jordan what are you doing here 1 and why are you here with August" Chris shouted as he looked at Jordan with a cold stare."Chris please I'm begging you don't tell Sean" she said as she stared at Chris with pity in her eyes. "Jordan just answer me what the fuck are you doing here with August" he said running his hands through his bleached blonde hair. Jordan didn't answer instead paying attention to the detailing of her shoes. "Jordan are you cheating on Sean" Christopher asked as he gripped her shoulder. Jordan just nodded her head making Chris shake his head in disappointment. "Why Jordan? You guys were doing so good" Chris said frowning at Jordan. Jordan shrugged her shoulders "Chris it's boring now. He dosen't spend time with me anymore. It's like we've lost the spark I tried to spice things up but every time he ignores me." Jordan said sniffling not wanting to ruin her makeup. Chris's frown dropped as he wrapped his arms aroundJordan's shoulder. "Look Jordan I won't tell Sean but if he finds out I can't help you it will all be on you" Christopher said looking at Jordan with sincerity in her eyes. Jordan nodded her head as she hugged Chris then pulled him up "Now let's party until we can't" Chris said laughing then walking out the room where August was waiting glaring at them both. "Oh calm down I know her old man" Chris said winking at August who in return just nodded."How does he know" August asked giving Jordan an emotionless stare."He's Sean's coworker he comes over my house all the time for business proposals" Jordan said shrugging her shoulders. August nodded his head and pulled her into the dance floor. He laughed as he looked at Jordan who looked  confused because she couldn't dance. "Just loosen up" August said which made Jordan calm down and just sway to the beat. Once the party begin to wine down August pulled Jordan close "Want to take the party to my house" August whispered in Jordan's ear causing her to whine "August I have work tomorrow I don't want to go there limping" Jordan said causing him to smirk."Okay we can just chill" August said smiling. Jordan shook her head as she begin to head for the door with August behind her.August quickly slid into his car driving to his house and parked once he got there. August walked over to Jordan and grabbed her hand pulling her into his house."What you want to drink" August asked as he walked into his kitchen dropping his keys into the key dish."Something strong" Jordan said as she looked over August's house. August laughed as he walked into the kitchen and got out a bottle of liquor out of his cabinet walking back into the living room hand the bottle to Jordan.Jordan gulped down the liquor ignoring the burning sensation in her throat then passed the bottle to August who did the same just with a bigger amount. “Pass me that stack" August said referring to the large amount of money on the table. Jordan picked it up and grabbed a rubber band off the table handing them both to August who in return nodded his head at Jordan. “Why don't you love me August ?" Jordan slurred the liquor finally getting to her head. August laughed the liquor in his system making him only half understand what Jordan asked him. “Loving ain't the same with a nigga like me" he said as he passed the liquor bottle back to Jordan who just laughed. “You drive me insane Auggie" Jordan said as she draped her arm over Augusts’ shoulder. August nodded his head "That's how it is with a nigga like me" he said smiling. 

Back at the party Chris was there still confused. He thought Jordan and Sean's marriage was going great well that's how Sean portrayed it. He was also scared for Jordan he knew how August was he didn't really care bout anyone's feeling and he didn't care if he hurt your feeling's either. He knew Jordan would fall for him but how August was he wouldn't commit to anyone . "Aye Chris you need some help cleaning up" his friend Brian asked looking at the gigantic mess that was made. Chris nodded his head as he walked into the kitchen getting out the cleaning supplies handing some of it to Brian. Once they were finished Brian let himself out and Christopher went to bed with a lot on his mind

"Damn it" Christopher scream slamming his hand on the alarm that was making a very annoying noises extremely loud. He yawned as he got out of his bed regretting the party he threw which gave him hell of a hangover. He walked into his bathroom and stared at himself in the mirror his bleached blonde hair was going each and every way, he had bags under his eyes from lack of sleep and his lip were chapped dead skin covered them. He sighed opening his bathroom cabinet and getting out the body of aspirin placing two of them into his hand and putting the bottle back in the cabinet closing it afterward. He put the two pills into his mouth and grabbed a water from the side of the sink guzzling it down the pills sliding down his throat with ease. He groaned as he walked over to his closet and got out his normal work  attire a 3 peice suit and dress shoes. He placed them on the bed and grabbed a towel and wash rag walking into the bathroom where he started the shower letting it get to a medium temperture. Once he confirmed it was warm enough he got into the shower the water making his hangover some what disappear. Chris sighed in relief when the pounding in his head stopped but the aching in his stomach was still there . He washed over his body trying to gain recollection of what happened yesterday it all being a blur. Chris hopped out the shoulder wrapping the towel around his waist and walking into his bedroom.He slid on his boxers and dried off the rest of his body pulling on his suit and after putting on his socks slidding his dress shoes on quickly. Once he was fully dressed he grabbed his car keys and walked down the steps grabbing the first peice of fruit he saw wanting to put something on his stomach. He walked outside the bautiful summer air hitting him. He walked to his car and unlocked his car getting into the drivers seat and starting the car up driving to his job. Once he was there Christopher parked his car and hopped out walking to the enormous building once inside waving at all the other worker until he was at his office walking into the large workspeace where Sean was waiting for him and that's when it all flashed back to him.Jordan and August, her cheating on him, themlosing the spark, and Jordan leaving with August. "Christopher did you hear me" Sean said his voice as broad as his shoulders. Christopher shook his head " Sorry what did you say" he siad scratching his neck something he did when embarassed." I said you had a party yesterday and didn't tell me" he said laughing at Chris who looked like a deer caught in head lights. "Yeah it was live" Chris said trying to calmdown. "Well if you would've invited me I would have got someone to watch Kasey. Me and Jordan would've been there" he said smiling at the thought of his wife. Chris coughed uncomfortably "Yeah next time I got you but how are you and Jordan going" Chris asked he wanted to see if Sean was going to give the same answer as Jordan. Sean sighed as he looked at Chris "Man honestly I couldn't be happier I really think she's the one I don't what I'd do without her" Sean said smiling. Chris shook his head. Sean was unaware of how Jordan felt and that Jordan was cheating on him.
