Chapter 3: The Worst

Jordan sighed as she scanned through the stack of papers that laid on her desk she had check through them at least four times and she still couldn't find what she was looking for."Looking for this" Holly said walking into her office with an brown envelope with some cursive scribbling on it. "Thank you so much Holly I was looking all over for it" Jordan said smiling at the receptionist. Holly smiled as she closed the door and sat down in one of Jordan's chair. Jordan scrunched up her face " What are you doing Holly" Jordan asked as she looked at the brunette. Holly laughed " Mrs. Karson yesterday I had happen to go to a party " Holly said raising her eyebrow at Jordan who just shifted uncomfortably in her seat. "And what did I see little Mrs.Karson with one of her clients August August Alsina as I recall" she said smirking at Jordan. "Holly what I do outside of work is my business" Jordan said praying on the inside that Holly didn't tell. "Well it would be if this got into the hands of dare I say Mr.Karson or maybe Chelsea also know as your boss" Holly said laughing at Jordan as if she was less of her. Jordan rolled her eyes "Holly what do you want" she asked as she stared at her. "I want what you took from me" Holly said as she slammed her hand down on the desk making Jordan jump slightly. "What are you talking about Holly" Jordan said as she stared at Holly with utter confusion. Holly glared at Jordan as she pointed at Jordan "I'll give you 2 week and if you don't remember you'll regret it" she said afterwards walking out the door. Jordan sighed relieved that she left but was met with disappointment when she came waltzing backing in "Oh I forgot something" Holly said smirking at an enraged Jordan. "What do you want Holly" Jordan growled through gritted teeth. "Ms.Higgins said you could leave since she's leaving for a meeting" Holly said slamming the door before walking out. Jordan sighed out in frustration running her hands over her face. After grabbing her keys and glasses she exited out the office giving a final death glare to Holly before walking out the building and getting into car. Deciding she was going to August's house she made a right out the parking lot and begin to drive to his house.

After pulling up to August's house Jordan climbed into the backseat of her car and grabbed the hoodie she only wore when going to his house and slipped it on her body. After doing so she climbed out the car and locked it walking to the house that belonged to August. Once she found it she walked up the steps knocking on the door. While she waited patiently she scanned over the house taking in all the new arrangement August added. Unbeknownst to Jordan the door was swung open and someone was looking at Jordan waiting to see what she wanted. Finally tired of waiting for someone to open the door Jordan put her hand up ready to knock again until her hand came in contact with clothed flesh. Jordan flipped her head up pulling the hood of her jacket back slightly so she could see the person she mistakenly hit. When she looked up she saw a beautiful girl who looked to be not even in her twenties yet." Is August here" Jordan asked as she stared at the detailing in her shoes suddenly losing all confidence in herself. The girl shook her head looking at Jordan curiously "Yes he is I'll go and get him" the girl said running up the steps leaving the door wide open but Jordan stayed put. Her heart cringed as she thought of August being with someone much better much more beautiful then her she didn't know why though she didn't have feelings for August even if she did she had to remember she was married and she had agreed that there should be no feeling attached. Cutting her thoughts short came August down the steps with the mystery girl behind him. "Bye Auggie" the girl said kissing August on the cheek and slipping out the door. "Bye Jasmine" August called out basically ignoring Jordan's presence. Once August was done with Jasmine he looked at Jordan and scratched his neck awkwardly "Jordan you should've called" August said opening the door wider so that Jordan could get in."What did I interrupted you and Jasmine" Jordan asked mockingly after walking into the house. August whipped around quickly giving Jordan an unreadable look "Are you jealous of Jasmine" August said looking at Jordan causing her to sigh. Jordan shook her head quickly "No I just don't want you sleeping around don't want to get anything" Jordan said making up a quick lie something that had became easy to her."First off you don't own me I'm grown I can sleep with  whoever I want and I don't say anything about you sleeping with hubby then coming over here to me" he said looking at Jordan with an uneasy look. Jordan looked flabbergasted "That's my husband and this is my body I can do whatever I want with it I just don't want you sleeping with trashy whores then trying to put your disco stick in me" Jordan said glaring at August. August scoffed "Jasmine isn't a trashy whore" August said looking at Jordan who was basically fuming with anger."How would I know all you do is sleep with desperate whores" Jordan yelled walling her hands around. "Desperate whores like you" August spat staring at Jordan. "You pursued me dumb ass" Jordan said a little cracking in her voice obviously hurt from August's words. "I didn't say it was a good marriage besides who said I can't have some fun remember those word Jordan" August said getting closer to her. "Well if I knew you were going to be like this I would've declined" Jordan said walking away from August and going to the door. "I'm leaving call me when you get some commonsense" Jordan said pulling the hoodie up over her head and opening the door. "Whatever and just so you know Jasmine's my cousin" he said before Jasmine could get out the door. Jordan shrugged her shoulders as she climbed in her car.

Once to her house she got out the car and walked up the steps until she got to the door. She twisted the knob and pushed open the door which was open like alway's. "Jordan is that you"  she heard Sean call from the living room. "Yeah it's me honey" she yelled back taking off her shoes and leaving them by the door. She walked into the living room to see Sean still dressed in his work clothes with an angry scowl on his face. "Jordan we need to talk...now" he said giving Jordan an emotionless stare. Jordan sighed as she sat down on the couch next to Sean. Jordan stared at Sean waiting for him to explain "Holly called and told me you had got off work earlier today" he said rubbing his temple. Jordan growled under her breath "Holly called your office" Jordan asked furious that Holly would even stoop that low. "No she called my mobile cell phone" he said pulling out his cell phone in which Holly's name showed up. Jordan at first was outraged then she became very confused "Why is Holly's name saved in your phone and why does her name show up so many times" she asked as she lifted herself up off the couch. "She's the receptionist at your job" he said trying to calm Jordan down but that only mad her angrier. "exactly she's my receptionist her number shouldn't be saved in your phone" she yelled at Sean. "Don't try and flip the script on me where the hell were you Jordan" he yelled back finally getting the corouge to stand up. "Why the hell is Holly's name saved in your phone Sean" Jordan yelled trying to duck and dodge his question. "Because it is do you have a fucking problem" he yelled the force in his voice making Jordan step back. "Sean I think you should leave" Jordan said as she begin to walk up the steps. "Why Jordan we can talk this out" he said grabbing her forearm before she could continue up the steps. "No Sean we need trust and it's obvious that your not giving any of it to me" she said yanking her arm from his and walking up the steps while Sean walked behind her trying to get her to compromise with him. After getting no where with her Sean sighed and grabbed an over night bag and packed some clothes into it. "I'm going to Christopher's house call me if you need anything I love you babe" Sean said looking ar Jordan for the last time before he made his journey to Chris's house. Jordan tried to keep herslf together but the pain in her chest wouldn't let her. She felt horrible and usually when she felt like this August or Sean was there to cheer her up but the people who could help her the most she had pushed away. Jordan had to admit it the worst pain in her life was all the fault of her and at her worst time she had to deal with it alone. She couldn't call anyone soo she had to just let her tears fall as they messed up her make up and soiled her clothes. "Why me " Jordan sobbed as she sat on the bed pressing the pillow to body as if it would magically make the pain go away.

Sean had finally arrived at Christopher's house after grabbing his bag out the trunk and locking the door he walked to the house and knocked on the door. When the door was pulled open he was surprise to see someone that wasn't Christopher. "Is Christopher home" Sean asked thinking he was at the wrong house the guy shook his head opening the door wider "Yeah I'll go get him by the way I'm August" the guy said walking into the kitchen. Sean nodded his head walking into the living room and taking a seat on the long couch. "Sean what you doing here" Chris asked looking kind of scared but quickly wiped the emotion from his face. Sean sighed "Jordan came home we had an argument and she found Holly's number saved in my phone" he said laying his bag on the floor. Chris scruched up his face in confusion "You cheating with Holly" he asked kind of hurt he had the biggest crush on her and everyone knew. Sean shook his head "Not really just some little stuff here and there" he said smirking and showing them a picture on his phone of Holly's naked body. "Dude that's not cool Holly and Jordan don't deserve that" he said shaking his head at Sean. " I know what I'm doing so calm down what you like her or something" he said cocking his brow at Chris. Chris just shook his head " No I'm just saying you know" he said forcing a smile on his face. Sean nodded his head "But who's that dude that opened the door" Sean said pointing to August as he walked out the kitchen. "Oh this is August my friend from school he comes over here from time to time. August this is Sean Sean this is August" Chris said with a little fear in his voice. August nodded his head giving Sean a dap "Player player she fine damn" August said taking a last look at Holly. " I know but my wife find out that's my ass"Sean said laughing.August nodded his head "Game see game" August said  laughing. Christopher just sat in utter silence digusted by the men he called friends. The way they used women was disgusting but it wasn't any of his buisness well at least not yet. He knew when the truth came out everyone would be in the middle of it.
