Silent as a mouse
Our class sits
Memories flood back
Even now, months later
Time moved so slow
I cried for you
Memories haunting me
Even now, months later
Should I join you?
Time is supposed to help
Heal the open wounds
End the pain
Only, it doesn’t
Never can I be helped
Living alone
You left me
Why, I ask
And remember
You were upset over me
I’m sorry, I whisper
Sorry doesn’t cut it
Jumping is free
Uniting with the wind
Memories flood back
Pretty soon, they won’t
I won’t need them
Not on a night like this
Going to join you soon
