Everyone knew you
Remembered your smile, your laugh
Found a way to your heart
Even just saw you in the hall
Colour and life you brought
To these empty days
In the end, you left
Maybe I should have realised
Promised to save you
End the hell you went through
Realised you were dying
Forever best friends
Ended that day
Covered it with a smile well
Time didn’t tell us that
I never wanted you to leave
On this Earth, you were mine
Never ending happiness ended
So death could overtake
