Dedicated to cjarrett95, for making me realize someone is actually reading this :) It's only short, but I promise more will come soon!
Niall and I have been getting along fine since our deal. It's been a week and well no incidents, no suspicion from neither Sage or Lacey. We're now on a weeks break from school, some problem with the plumbing and they have to close down the college for a week. You won't hear me complaining. At the moment we're all sitting around the sitting room, snacking on some of my gorgeous home cooking, trying to decide what to do for the week.
Sage speaks first, "We could just stay in and get some extra study." We all groan, and she puts her hands up in surrender.
I sit up from my lying position on the floor, "Camping!"
Lacey questions, "Huh?"
I smiled, "We should go camping! A mini road trip! We could go down to Ballybunion, take Niall's pickup and stay in a campsite!"
Sage quickly complains, "No way!"
I frown, "Come on! it would be so much fun! And cheap! We could go swimming at the beach, and go on the cliff walk!"
She shakes her head, "There is no way I am staying in a tent!"
I question, "Why not?"
She replies, "Because!"
I push, "Because what?"
She shakes her head, "Because they are uncomfortable and cold and damp and not nice!"
I raise an eyebrow, "Have you ever camped in a tent?"
She mumbles, "No . . ."
I stand up, "Then you can't say a bad thing about it! We should go pack, we'll leave in the morning!"
Sage crosses her arms, "I'm not going! I don't even like the beach!"
I cross my arms, "You can go shopping."
She smiles, "I'm in." I rolled my eyes at her.
Niall spoke up, "Me too!"
Lacey quickly adds, "Me three!"
I smile, "Great! I'll go figure out which campsite we'll go to. Niall, you should fill up your pick up, we'll drive there in that. Lacey, do you think you could borrow your parents tent? The eight sleeper. And Sage, any chance you could try not to pack too much, keep it to a minimal?" Sage shot daggers at me while Niall went out to his car and Lacey got out her phone.
Sage spoke up, "How long will we go for?"
I shrugged, "Three or four nights."
