^^ this hurts my heart wbu

Sydney, Australia, 4th February 2011, 10:13 am.

I laid upon my back, looking to the ceiling with nothing but a vacant stare and a grumbling stomach. It was now Saturday, the end to a very long week, and I still did not feel any less crappy than the beginning of school.

So Luke got off to a great start, I mean, I saw it coming and yet it still surprised me. He instantly became friends with everyone, charming all girls in his path. He was even telling me about how he had his eye on some Year Elevens already. Sigh. I guess my little claim over Luke had been broken long ago.

I guess I should head downstairs then, I'll go and eat something before my stomach collapses. As I literally rolled out of bed my phone buzzed, alerting me about a text message I had just received. My hand reached over to my bed side cabinet and I picked up my phone, seeing Luke's name on my screen.

hi. It read.

hey.

I need ur help today, can u come round? My heart pounded a little in my chest and a smile tugged at my lips. I'm so sappy.

I guess, yeah. help with what? I asked, biting my lip although no one could actually see, making me stop immediately as how stupid I must of looked.

u will see ;) be here for 11.

ok. I answered with, leaving the conversation there and heading downstairs.

As I began eating my cereal, I started to wonder what I need to help Luke with. It could be homework... then again, he could've just asked me the questions over text. Luke is unreadable, and that is why I am so fond of him. He is just so unpredictable.

I finally finished my breakfast and chucked the bowl and spoon in the sink, heading upstairs to get ready. All I chucked on were some skinny jeans and a T-Shirt, nothing special, it was only Luke. I slipped on my vans and grabbed a bag before heading into my mums room to say goodbye.

She was sitting at her dressing table, brushing her hair and applying make-up as she turned to face me.

"Morning." She smiled turning back to her mirror.

"Morning." I answered her, my voice completely monotone.

"Where are you going then?" She commented, looking at me through the mirror, raising an eyebrow.

"A friends, can I have a lift?"

"I've got to go this work party with your father right now, I can't be late. He is meeting me there, Sorry. Who's this friend?"

"Luke."

"Oh ok, well, I'm not gonna be in later. Your dad and I are having a late night at a work party and then staying at a friends, you can stay at Luke's if you want. I trust you, he's a nice boy. His parents are going too, I'll text Liz asking if you can stay" She said, shrugging her shoulders, not even looking at me.

"Ok, cheers. Have a good evening, I'll take my key. Bye then." I sighed, kissing her on the cheek and walking out of her room.

I shoved some underwear into my bag along with all of my other necessities and packed a new top. I hope Luke doesn't mind me staying, well, neither he or I have a choice now.

I shut the front door and walked down the steps, jumping from the bottom step like I had done every day since I moved into this house 9 years ago. It was a beautiful day outside, and that lifted my spirits, the trees began to sway in the sea breeze and the sun shone done onto my face, creating warmth.
