Chapter 12

CAMILA POV:
Monday morning
I'm in my car on the way to the airport which is where we are meeting Simon to find out where we are going for the next stage of the competition. I get to the airport and walk to where we were told to meet I see Lauren and Normani are already here. I walk over and hug them both.
"Hey Mila,"Normani says.
"Hi manibear,"I say.
"Hey Camz,"Lauren says.
"Hey Laur,"I answer.
"Gabriella,"Chris says.
"Troy,"I say and hug him.
"Ok yeah I "accidentally" threw a basketball at Keaton's head at basketball training,"he says and I laugh.
After twenty minutes Simon came and told us we were going to Dubai. We all scream and jump around. We all say goodbye to our families and walk away to get our flights. Lauren insisted on carrying my bag because of my wrist.

We are flying first class so when we get on the plane and an air hostess comes around offering us free drinks Normani Dinah Ally Lauren and I have orange juice in a champagne glass because we are too young to drink. I'm having a good time chatting to all the other groups until Keaton comes over and starts talking to Ally. Ally doesn't know what happened so she just talks to Keaton happily.
"Hey Camila,"Keaton says.
I just ignore him.
"Hey Camila,"he says again.
"What,"I say angrily.
"I'm just saying hey,"he says defensively.
"Please don't talk to me,"I say and I go and sit down.
"What was that about,"Ally asks me. I just shake my head and a tear rolls down my cheek Ally wipes it and puts and arm around me I put my head on her shoulder.
"What's wrong with Mila?"I hear Dinah ask.
"Something to do with Keaton I think,"Ally says.
"Did he try anything I'll kill him where is he,"Dinah how.
"I'm fine,I was just thinking about what happened,"I say sitting up.
"What happened,"Ally asks.
Dinah bends down and whispers something in Ally's ear.
"Report him get him kicked off the show that's unacceptable,"Ally says.
"No I don't want to crush Troy and Siophes' dreams because of something Keaton did,"I say.
"But Camila he-"Ally started.
"I know but I have made my decision,"I say firmly.
Ally just nods. After a while everyone is sleeping.

Ten minutes before the plane lands someone comes around and wakes everyone up. I start to get nervous about landing and I look for Lauren I see she is sitting in the seat in front of me.
"Laur?"I say and she turns around.
"You ok?"she asks.
"We are about to land?"I say.
"Oh I'm sorry I forgot,"she says and she grabs my hand.
"Thank you,"I say and I look into her eyes,they are so beautiful,she is so beautiful why am I only realising how beautiful she is now. I have the sudden urge to kiss her but I know I can't because she obviously doesn't feel the same way. I realise I'm still staring at her and I look away quickly. I look out the window but get scared because we are getting closer to the ground Lauren must have noticed this because she puts a finger on my chin and turns my head so I'm looking at her.
"Just focus on me,"she says and I bite my lip. We just stare into each other's eyes until we feel the plane land. I let out a sigh of relief.
"Ok?"Lauren asks me. I nod.
"Your cut is completely gone now"she says stroking just under my eye.
"Yeah,"I say.
"Sorry about that,"She says her hand still on my face.
"Don't be,"I say.
"Umm camren lets go,"Dinah says and I blush.
Lauren grabs my bag and her own and starts to walk off the plane. I look around and see there is no one else on the plane. I grab her wrist and pull her back towards me she drops the bags in shock.
"Sorry I just wanted to do this,"I say and I lean in and kiss her lips softly. She just stays still. I pull away and look at the floor.
"I'm sorry,"I say not really meaning it.
"Don't be,"she says and she pulls me closer to her and connects our lips once more. I feel butterflies in my stomach. She pulls away and says,"Our secret,".
I nod. We walk off the plane and Dinah says,"where were you?"
"I fell over,"I say.
"You ok any injuries,"Dinah says.
"Nope I'm fine,"I say smiling.
We walk out of the airport and see 7 cars lined up. One for each of the groups and one for Simon. The five of us jump into a seven seater. Lauren and I sit at the back,and Normani Ally and Dinah sit in front of us. I put my head on Lauren's shoulder and intertwine our fingers. Nobody will suspect anything because this is normal behaviour for me and Lauren.
"Smile,"Dinah says and she takes a picture of Lauren and I.
"Aww that's so cute,"Normani says looking at the picture.
