Family means spending time together not pretending to be perfect
Family means overcoming the struggles of life together not blaming them on one person
Family means getting along with each other not just to like them
Just be kind to them and welcome them in your life
Because family is family even if they're from a different state or a different country
Or if they're gay, straight, trans, bi, man, woman, black, white, Latino, Asian, or religious
They are a family to you as they are to me
