Old wounds

She was so disappointed that the boss is so unprofessional. He could've at least shut the door. Well she won't be quite of a disturbance again, she'll just wipe her imagination of her boss and the blonde chick. Ha! As if that will happen.

She sat in her leather chair waiting. It seems as if her boss had forgotten he has a new employee. As soon as the thought came to mind he came in her office with his blonde chick.

Wait?!

That's not just any blonde chick. That is her ex best friend Reyna.

“Sapphire, is that you?” asked Reyna.

No because I have a twin sister you've never met.

“In flesh and blood” Sapphire replied. She was hoping that Reyna has a change of heart because she could not stand the awkwardness.

“Honey fire her right this moment! ” Reyna said to Flynn.

There goes Sapphire's hope. She was so angry that Reyna had not even listened to her explanation, she had the audacity of saying that it was Sapphire's fault. After all Tyler wasn't even that good looking.

“I don't think that's possible Reyna and who gives you the right to tell me what to do?!”, Flynn shouted in her face.

Sapphire almost felt sorry for her. Key word almost. Reyna had definitely earned that insult. Yeah who gave her the right to say that, oops she doesn't even know that she's just a little play toy for him.

“I thought we had something special and I'm your girlfriend!” Reyna said.

Sapphire was quite enjoying this mini soap opera. She should really catch up on the gossip girl series. She watched them argue back and forth. OK, probably she should stop them or maybe a little longer.

She checked her watch and saw that it was already 9 am. A hour has passed without even getting a task. She needs to stop them now, it was getting a little too loud.

“Sorry to interrupt your argument but I came here to work and not to watch a sweet little couple fight ”

It seems as if they had forgotten they are not at home. Sapphire wasn't really complaining, to be honest she was quite enjoying it but she had a reputation to maintain.

“You may leave now Reyna ” That tone of voice alone gave her no choice but to leave. Of course not before turning to give Sapphire a nasty glare. She always had a good glare.

“Well sorry about that, they always forget that its just a one week thing. Well I will give you a file with my appointments and meetings so do your trick and sort it out. ”

He came back with a stack of file. He is quite a busy man, in more ways than one.

On his way out the door he added
“Please refrain from drooling on the desk when my delinquent brother comes here”

I highly doubt it. I'm not some puppy drooling over a piece of meat.
