Confused ( Amnesia fanfic )

Chapter 1

( Emiko's pov )

I wake up by the sun hitting on my face. We also got a summer vacation and my brother said if I'm okay if I go to the beach with them, and I said yes. So now, I'm doing my morning routine, then I pack all the stuff needed at the beach like swimsuits, sunblock, and extra clothes.

" who are the others that will go to the beach? " Orion asked

" I think it's Ikki, Kent and Toma. " I answered. Then he nodded. Then after I exited to my room and go to the living room, I saw my brother is ready to go and just waiting for me. Then he asked " are you ready? " "yes." I simply answered then we saw a limo in front of our house.

( Toma's pov )

We just got here in front of Emiko's house. Then I go out of the limo and knock on their door. I knock three times before Shin opened it. " Ready to go? " I asked. Then he answered yes.

I only met Emiko this few weeks because she work on the cafe. And I already know why she's always expressionless.

We are already at the limo and ikki is driving. Me and Shin is on the other sides of Emiko, ' I wonder what she look's like if she smile ' I thought while looking at her then she turns her head and caught me looking at her then " what? " she said harshly and I quickly replied " nothing! " while looking away feeling embarrassed.

After 2 hours of silence…

We're already in front of the resort in the limo but I notice that there's something on my shoulder then when I look at my shoulder, I saw Emiko, sleeping peacefully then I blush when I saw how cute her face is when she is sleeping, then suddenly, Shin wake her up so we can go at the beach. " Emiko, we're already here. " Shin said. Then slowly, Emiko opens her eyes then go out of the limo without saying a word.

( Emiko's pov )

I just woke up from sleep when Shin wakes me up. We're already here at the resort and go to our new room. I'm in the same room with my brother, Toma and Kent were also in the same room while Ikki have his own.

After an hour…

I'm already wearing my swimsuit. It is one piece suit, it's color was light blue.

After I got change, I exited to my room and found Kent also exiting his room. Then he suddenly blush when he saw me on my swimsuit but I just ignore him, but while I'm walking towards him " Do you want to walk with me outside?" I asked. Then he just nod.

We are just walking in silence when he break it and asked " why can't you smile? " he asked suddenly and then I stop walking and answered " I don't want to talk about it. " I answered harshly while not looking at him then I start walking but he grabbed my wrist and said " I already know about your mother. "

Then I felt tears were running through my cheeks then I just look down then " Shin already told you, huh? " I asked then he nodded.

" Why don't you try to move on? " he asked.

" I already move on. " I mumbled

" Then why aren't you smiling? " he asked again.

" because I don't want to. " I answered.

Then he let go of my wrist and wipe out the tears from my face. " I'm always here " he whispered. Then his face is moving from mine.

( Kent's pov )

My face is moving closer to her. ' why am I doing this?! ' I thought. I just feel like doing it but suddenly Ikki was on my sight so I move away. " what are you two doing? " he asked.

" It's none of your business. " I answered harshly. Then he smirk, no, more like evil smirk.

" Well, see you. " he said while walking away. I glare at him then I heard Emiko says " let's go. " she mumbled. Then I nod.

( Emiko's pov )

" let's go. " I mumbled while walking away. ' why do my face feels so hot right now?! ' I thought. Then when we are already at the beach, I saw Toma on the water, Shin is on the sand, sitting, while Ikki has his sunglasses with some girls following her. And when I saw the sea, I remember those times where me and my family is on the beach. I close my eyes and remembered…

Flashback…

I'm doing a sand castle happily  on the beach when suddenly, there was a ball that hit my castle and I started to cry. " whaaaaaaaah, my castle *sob* is *sob* ruined, whaaaaaah! "

" What happened?! " my mom asked. Then Shin explain to my mom what happened then,

" It's okay now, we will build another castle! A bigger castle! " my mom said

" really?! " I said while smiling big " Yeyyy!! " I said.

We build a castle together with Shin, me and my mom…

End of flashback…

I snap out of my  thought when Toma is calling me for a swim.

" Emiko! come here! the water is very warm! " he shouted happily and said " sure. " I mumbled. Then I walk towards the sea. " It's very warm… " I said while smiling, then

" Are you smiling?! " Toma shouted. Then I'm back to my emotionless face again.

" You smile! I can't believe that you smile! " he shouted happily then I put my hands to cover his mouth from shouting and said " Don't shout and be quiet.  " I harshly whisper to him then he gulp and nod. I removed my hands from his face and continued to swim then he said " You're really beautiful when smiling. " he said while walking away. I feel myself blushing from what he had said. I shake my head and walk away from the water.

( Toma's pov )

I'm so happy today that I already saw her smile. My heart is beating fast when I saw her smile.

' I wish she's always smiling. ' I thought.

fast forward ( night time…)

I'm on the restroom looking at the mirror, thinking of what happened earlier, then I feel myself smiling. ' do I like her?

no, it's impossible. I can't fall in love to Emiko. ' I thought.

While walking at the corridor, the lights are off and the only light was the moon. Suddenly, I saw a person standing near the window, it's a girl. ' wait! is that Emiko?! ' I thought. She is looking on the moon. I walk towards her then asked " why are you doing here in the middle of the night? " I asked.

" Nothing. " she simply answered. Then I suddenly saw her crying. "hey, why are you crying? " I asked. Then she suddenly hugged me and burried her face on my chest and cry harder. " It's okay… " I said. " I'm here. " I said.

She already fall asleep in my arms while crying so I carry her bridal style while looking to her room. When I open the door, Shin is already asleep so I put Emiko to her bed and then kiss her on the forehead then I go back to my room.
